opps, my bad, the abnormal vibration sound can be heard when engine is idling, or rev ur engine to 1.4~1.6k rpm, or when u release throttle, the sound should be like "grrr... grrr... grrr...", quite obvious

No worries and thanks for sharing light_up, will pro-actively listen from time to time. biggrin.gif

Guys,

I'm sorry that the parcel is still stuck in China. I'm filling a complain on the shipper via paypal today. Do you guys wants to wait further or do you want a refund once paypal processes my refund within a week?

I can use another shipper or get the reseller to send directly via airmail.

It is in car voltmeter...
Since so many peoples suffered from battery DIES issue, hence I just brought 1 for monitoring....
Just in case, I can smell something before the battery DIES

Not able to tell unless calibrate with portable voltmeter that direct connected to battery terminal.
But so far the reading make sense, when ignition ON but not yet cranking, 408 give 12.7 reading which means fully charge. My old car which the battery already 1 yrs ++ is only 12.1 which is only 50% charge, if this keep dropping then maybe time to change based on online voltage chart. But of course, that is not the only indicator, there are more way to check as per internet source.  cool2.gif

Thanks for the info, might consider of getting it for my lion. Cheers!

For the scratches on my handsome lion done by the coating shop worker, we've come to an agreement for a rebate of RM600 from initial costing..

Although its a good settlement, the heart ache of looking at those scar kinda deep though.. Huhuhu..

Of course, who wanna see thier newborn baby being torture? I feel you bro, do you have any pics of your lion to share with us? Also, if can please do share with us which coating shop you went to so that our fellow puggers here can avoid to become the next victims.

I've got 2 weirds things on my engine bay.. The first one is the same aluminium mentioned by sky13.. The other one is duct tape on the area of hood lock..

Appreciate comments from other owner as well.. At this point of time, I didnt have the courage to remove it by myself..  Perhaps its standard for 408t?
*
The functionality of the aluminium foil work as heat insulator to protect the nearby cables from the extreme heat generated by turbo hose. Skyjack you are right on this.

As for the duct tape nearby the hood lock is to protect the hook paint when we open/close our car hood. All 408TE should have these (2) items, I had it since the first day of collecting my lion.

I believe when I cal the tow truck later, they will sure ask me why I don't bring into Geo Auto and instead wanna tow to Kota Damansara.

I will tell them exactly the reason.
*
Hi sctang408T,

Sorry to hear that and I can certainly understand your frustration on being directed here and there with no proper resolution. If I were you, I will feel pissed and frustrated as well, hope everything is ok now.

I'd encountered almost the similar issue like yours but different warranty claims. Going back and forth and end up me writting a formal complaint to the customers relation dept with hope they will look into the complaint and guess what? They did reviewed the case and provided me with a satisfactory answer. Hence, it would be great if you could write in your feedback/ experience and sent it to clic@naza.com.my for further investigation.

Hope everything will turn out well for you and your lion, please keep us posted.

I still deciding to complaint or not. But if I do, will be big bcoz I will sent to not only Naza. I will sent to the top level, the star, consumer associate, France Peugeot.

Since is going to write a lengthy email, might as well make it hit hard.
*
Why don't you start with sending in your feedback to Naza first and see how is the progress. Even though you sent it to PSA in France, they still revert back to the sole distributor of the respective country to investigate.

You just bought,19K already aah! Wow your Lion running wild la......hehehe! biggrin.gif

The scratching sound is symptom of worn brake pads. You will be able to see circular grove on your brake disc. Send to SC immediately to change brake pads. If you delay, the grove gets deeper and might require brake disc change also. This is wear & tear, you'll have to pay.
*
You need to do it fast before Aug 31st cause Peugeot is having Hari Raya Promo (30% discount) on ATF, wipers, coolant and also brake pads!.

Hi 408s,

It is an official TT organize by PCM (Central Region). We do not restrict it to only certain models, but its open to everyone, we don't mind whether you're young, old, female or male and same applies to your ride, new or old generation. Everyone is welcome, lets get cozy and start to get to know the Peugeot community better. =)

hi guys, will there be a problem if i do not switch off the aircon and radio when i off the car engine?
*
It is advisable to switch it off, theory is to make sure is load free upon start up. Not sure if you have heard about this before, if there is a house power failure (blackout). It is advisable to turn off all the appliances to prevent power rush to appliances. So, the same theory applies to our car electronics parts as well, hence I will always ensure the aircond is switch off before turn off the engine.
