Thanks for sharing with us the details x800, it really looks awesome and fierce. Question - will it void our warranty with installing this?

QUOTE(roxx @ Jun 25 2013, 10:23 PM)
After 2 days, SC KD told me that they need to change the fuel tank due to fuel leaking underneath. No parts available, thus need to wait at least 3 weeks.

They said it's ok to drive back my car and I was told not to pump petrol full. I was wondering whether is it safe to drive in that condition?

Currently I have wasted lots of time attending to this problem. They don't have any courtesy car available (troublesome to drive one car to SC then go back 2 cars). Shouldn't I get any compensation due to their poor service at first place? And should I send email to Peugeot pertaining to this?
*
Roxx, I thought your issue were fixed and 3 weeks without any courtesy car is not good enough. Furthermore, they should not advised you to drive your car back since the petrol tank is leaking which putting yourself and your love ones into a risk. If I was you, I already become an incredible hulk. There is alot of channel for you to provide feedback/ complaint about their poor service. Have you try email and then contact the careline to lodge a formal compliant?

almost botak. when hujan, can really feel the tires not gripping during corners.... especially at flyovers / bridges with metal connectors....

btw, my previous history, tires changed from 6 months - 1 year period...
*
Bro imifun, better don't take the risk, this kind of things cannot budget cause I was like you before thought the tires can last for another couple of months more, padahal sudah botak and end up the car spun and hit the divider in MEX highway.

appreciate the advise. will definitely change soon. i wonder which tire should i go for. I was thinking of the michelin tyres.

There is so many brand out there, either you can stick with Continental or go for better one like Michelin or Pirreli. It depends on your individual preferences, some prefer quiet and comfort and some prefer better quality in terms of grip and performance, but they're ok with little bit of noise.

I m not sure abt that, anyone could verify?

Collected my car yesterday.  Acceleration was superb, not as sluggish as before eventhough turbo boost was considered functioning then.

total cost is rm145000. I wonder why so expensive as they just change this. (Attached photo). Ans some gssket and labour cost.

meanwhile, I strongly suggest you all to check ur turbo. It may still function but compression is not enough. That was what I felt and semt to SC for checking.

I feel like organise a day trip to genting highland. Anyone?

Glad to know that your lion is back on track again Termibait.

Hi guys,

I'm a proud owner 408 NA Aster Grey. Just got it less than a month. Glad to join this forum.

FYI, already done with my 2500 first inspection in Puchong service center. I had lost of power on my car. Couldn't go up Genting smoothly. Complained to the SC and they replaced my battery. Now, performance back to normal. Didn't take long to get my car done. Roughly about 1hr 15 mins. Glad it was quite fast. So far, service seems OK in Puchong service center. Let's wait and see on my first service smile.gif

There is some deep scratches at my rear disc break. The warranty was only cover til 20k kilometers. My mileage now was 19920.

Firstly I called Balakong about my disc brake problem and they ask me to wait until middle next month for complain case. I was like WTF.

Then I call Puchong to pressure them since Balakong cant do anything with it.

Lets channel the feedback via Clic with hope they will look into it and improvise their after sales service.

haha.. then they will reply you with copy & paste template saying you email had been send to the respective person and they will look into it. That not gonna impress us much.

That is very true, but at least give them something to do and work on it. You will never know one day you will find their service improve tremendously just like those japanese company. This will never happen or remain as a dream if we do not channel our feedback/complaint to them. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Jul 11 2013, 02:32 PM)
Just sharing...done 20k service at Chan Sow Lin -Sing Huat Premium for my 2.0 NA

Cost RM378.95
[attachmentid=3530150]

There is a 50% discount on my 1 and a half hour labour charge (1.5 hour X RM90/hour , which was supposed to be RM135 but were charged half at RM67.50 instead).

This is due to incident of battery went dead 2 weeks after 10,000 km service, and was replaced with new Delkor battery and complaint to Service manager who agreed to give me 50% discount on labour cost on my next service

If not because of this it would have been a RM468.94 bill

They have also taken pictures of my whitish mold-like substance that has been recurring despite wiping off at the central opining on my front dashboard. Picture to be submitted to Nasim to claim warranty parts replacement.
*
Hi EnergyAnalyst, I brought my lion to CSL for 2500KM inspection and also they took pictures of my passenger door chrome lining for warranty claim as well back in May. Until now I have yet to hear anything back from them, did the SA request you to sign / acknowledge any documents for warranty claim?

No. I saw them taking pictures with camera, that is all. I have asked them about writing it all in the service order and having it signed but they say no need as it is a different process.

But I have written an email to customer service (clic@naza.com.my) today saying 'your CSL centre has today taken picture at my car and they have promised to help me make the warranty claim (since I have written to them before on this)
so do please let me know if the warranty claim will be honoured an dhow long it'll take

I kind of trusted/liked the service manager (mr. Govin) since he has honored the 50% labour charge discount which he had only verbally agreed to me 5 months ago.
But honestly I am also half- hearted now to have it changed because

1. I'd rather do THIS later

http://vimeo.com/52663443
http://how-to-gps.blogspot.com/2011/10/how...nit-in-car.html

2. I am very apprehensive about them doing the parts change after seeing the video above---worry they may screw up other stuff.
*
Same here, they just took pictures of the faulty part and verbally said to me that they will proceed with the claim process and this might take awhile.

When I asked: 'Is there any documents that I need to acknowledge?'
SA responded: 'No, no need cause we will proceed with ordering the part since we are not under Nasim, we do not have available parts'.
I responded: 'Do you have any documents / invoice at all for me to refer back for the warranty claim?'
SA responded: 'We don't provide any documents, we will only proceed with ordering the parts, once it arrived, we will contact you to come back for installation'

Lets hope they better don't forget / overlook the case when I return back for my 10000KM service which tentatively will be somewhere in Oct.

Hi light up, thanks for the heads up buddy and when you mentioned vibrating sound coming from the engine. Would you mind to share it in details? Cause all engine would have vibration especially when our car is on idle mode / stop at traffic lights.

I did mine and cost me RM89. tire swapping, and after that I had to send back to SC cause they didnt tighten some nuts. Anyway, is Toyo tire good? I was quoted RM475 a piece in klang
*
I have yet to experience Toyo tires myself, but I heard most of those drivers who love drifting prefer to use Toyo tires instead because of the grip and overall performance. RM475 for 17' I don't think so it is too expensive, I would say it is quite reasonable provided alignment + balancing is FOC.
