Samsung has already pulled out the 4.1.2 update because of the battery draining issue. You are not missing anything on this 4.1.2, nothing special actually. It was just a minor update only 0.0.1 increment. Just enjoy your Note 2.

yea...I also noticed about that....but Im still impress with Note 2 battery life. Im on data all the time..and now 13h 51m on battery still have 33% left....

Anyone who installed AVG anti virus here? Any impact to system resource and cause lag?

I know previously got forumers recommend other anti virus software but personally prefer AVG so just asking if theres any serious issue on AVG... thanks!

If Samsung did pull the 4.1.2, it was probably after you have updated.

What I am trying to say is there is a possibility that 4.1.2 may still be available. But of course I am not sure. Reasons I say this are :

1. Went to a Samsung store this afternoon and was told that it is still available (Of course it has been known that some of them do not know what they are talking about).
2. I have yet to register my phone and it could be due to this that it is not available to my unit yet. Will be doing so to see if I can after that.

note 2 is more suitable for a man or a woman? Its hard for me to believe women would like this big screen phone.  With the exception of a few.

IMO women can comfortably use big phones as most of them dont keep phone in pockets, and dont use phone while driving - like we guys always do (u see, we dont limit ourselves by certain standards set by ordinary people)

exactly, for me apex launcher is freakishly smooth, I have like tons of widgets on 7 screens and yet no lag AT ALL. but i don't use it as I like TW launcher

Nova allows overlapping widgets. If you get it right, you can have 2 widgets providing lots of info at once.
I suppose Apex, being almost identical as Nova, should provide the same experience.

Good for u. i think most problems are from sandisk 32gb class 10. Ppl should refrain themself from buying the 32gb ones.

from the bulk i did, 64GB has more RMAs.

really?? im starting to think it is not the sdcard problem.
because most problems comes from s3 and note2 users. could it be the phone?

yup. most of it are from s3 and note2 users.
symptoms/notifications(frequently happen) of a dying sandisk class 10 memcard   :
-'sd card removed unexpectedly' followed up by 'preparing sd card' but unreadable.
-removed sd card
-blank sd card(sd card is blank or has unsupported file system). Formatting would be effortless.

well sometimes the sdcard just come back will all the files u have before even after u tried formatting it. take this chance to do all the backups needed just in case the card goes crazy again.

i do have a way to cheat this problem. sometimes it work sometimes it doesnt and i have to be quick enough. most of the time it works for me though but not sure bout others.
-lock the phone in sleep mode(power button)
-wake it(power button)
-after it wakes quickly unlock the lockscreen and pull down the notification bar while it is stating 'preparing sd card'
-if it shows 'blank sd card' means u failed. otherwise, check and see if the extcard is readable or not.

hope this helps those facing symptoms above.

Mine is so far so good, 64GB as well. More than 3 months, bought it the next 2 days after I bought my Note II.
