LOL... due to good reviews on redpill 1.30 on the battery life (not that i am particularly bothered about battery life), i flashed it and will test it if it causes my 25% nightly battery drain

Alot of small time app developers start in xda. Giving free app on xda is kinda like paying for publicity. The amount of users is not really that much compared to the whole android community and most of the people there will donate or buy the pro version if the app is really good.

Can you please clarify what you mean by "wireless dongle" ? Is it the Allshare cast or the normal 3G dongle?

As others have pointed out, it is available on xda for free by the same dev. Well, academic or not, it provides us S3 and GN2 users a completely objective way of measuring charging current for our devices, and we can definitely pinpoint problems with slow charging, whether its the cable or the charger.

Bro, do you have the allshare cast dongle??? I have one and tried 1 whole day of different rom types and finally found that it can only work with stock roms. I am very interested in how you got it working with Omega v11.

Edit: come to think of it allshare should work with custom rom if you change back to stock recovery and kernel after flashing the rom and reset with TA.

Yes bro please test and let us know the results. There are at least 3 forumers here who have the dongle and Superman7 who has a Samsung SmartTV that can work with Allshare as well.

yes that could be worth exploring.

Then where's the fun in a custom rom with stock kernel? All the tweaks and OC etc can't be accessed at all.
