Oh by the way there is a theory on why a new boot loader. it's for the emmc brick bug. we have 3 ways too boot into the phone.
1 rom - protected by safe kernel
2 recovery - protected by safe recovery kernel
3 download mode - supposed to be protected by new boot loader.

No denying that it SHOULD protect from the emmc bug, but they had to bake in more locks to screw with flashers...

There is no such thing as 'best casing'. It's all up to personal preference and function of the case.

The bug is documented due to the execution of a command for erase. So if they did it properly by just removing references to that command, it should not have added other functions. I mean, like they could have just done this right?

All, general question:

I hang out primarily in this thread, and we all see a prevalence of battery stat displays ("mine is longer than yours" tongue.gif ) started by none other than our famous pro photographer. That's fine, but I'm only wondering do forumers in the other threads do this as well? Or they don't since they have more issues to whine about than how long they can last?
