i mean my phone not rooted 1... after software update last 2 day, it lag and lag... ^^    

So just update it? Where can i review this update changes? Not sure and pai seh to ask 

Just noticed mine is China firmware, hopefully there is no restriction on my apps.

So far can access to Play Store and Facebook.

Mine is a custom ROM, hope that doesn't affect much. Lazy to flash to other ROM for now.

Dear Note2 Sifu(s)...

I need help!!

My 1 mth old note2 suddenly wont charge *not even via usb*
I'm using original battery, cable and adapter. Updated 4.1.12. Not rooted.

My USB port, cable, adapter all looking good. Phone nvr dropped.
How does this happen? My battery level is low now...

Methods I've tried:
- Restarting the phone
- Completely shut down the phone and turned it on
- Charging when it's shut down

Any other method before i send it to Samsung?
(ps: wheres the samsung service center in PJ/Shah Alam area?)

I don't know whether to correct you cause you are not wrong even though I believe you have phrased it incorrectly.

I suppose you meant to say bug free. But then again when the OS is bug-ridden, there would also be lots to talk about. 

Hi all sifu here,  I have been following this thread on and off, hopping from one v to another v, cause just could not catchup the speed...

My Note 2, SME set from Maxis, not rooted, running stock rom since Nov last year.
Today, after OTA updates, the Device Status became "Modified".     
And I get a warning message when checking for Software update. (Refer screenshot attached.)

I have already updated to 4.1.2 over OTA earlier (like 2 weeks ago). And I did check, the Device Status was still Normal after 4.1.2.
Is it some kinda malware attack?
Is there anyway to return to Normal status?
Appreciate any help at all.

got question.. my fren just lost his note2 and unfortunately he didnt register at samsungdive.com ... is there any possible way to track/trace/lock his phone? maybe by using serial number, etc?

or i can actually suggest to him to forget his note2 and buy new one? lol

I think it depends on the coverage.
In settings> more settings> mobile network> network mode.
U might wanna try wcdma only? Results may vary depending on the coverage.

Now i can only charge my phone when it's shut down....

My phone keep staying awake after updating and found that google+ keep staying awake although I've deleted update and log out from it and didn't even sync anything with it.

I'm on stock rom with no root but this is bothering me as its eating up all the battery. P,ease help should I actually reset my phone again ?
