Anyone of you here using external 3.5' HDD cases? I recently got mine and after an hour of use, it got really hot. I mean REALLY REALLY hot. So hot I couldn't pick it up without using a cooking mitten. Is that normal? I know that HDD's especially 7200RPM ones like mine give out lots of heat but this is just absurd!

QUOTE(LarharT @ Mar 26 2006, 12:45 AM) i think aroung 48 degree is normal huh? from what i heard is that... for long term usage wise.. , it's better to keep a hdd temperature running under the 40 celcius barrier..
