parents,the best solution

Agreed, actually i was introduced to games by them, back then in 1985, my dad bought himself the Atari2600. It was fun back then. Then he got busy no more games except for the x86 computer in 1987 which he used for work but also play classic games like 'digger' and 'snake' (snake in nokia meets pacman) he was crazy with those games. As a kid, it was fun watching them. Well that was it. No more new console until 2001 where i bought myself my ps2 with my first salary.

getting your parents to buy games instead of using your own hard earned money gives less satisfaction somewhat.

i know, but im still young XD
Yep, when i was young, satisfaction still there. Where else can you get money? Plus it was fun if your parent play with you. Now i have 2 kids (3y and 1y) its a nice family evening activity together. My 3y daughter liks to play eyetoy with me.
Ahh... memory lane.
Btw, my dad still plays games if he come to my house - his favourate? - TimeCrisis series - Heh he. 54 years, still a player.

Now the blood have comedown to his grandchildren.
