btw last week i go do 40k major service SC install another rubber at engine hood to cover the air inlet original was blank to let more air flow in, this was FOC item PW933107 "seal assy hood frt no.2 - wrm", any one have this also, and why they wanna add this ?

bra, battery in the market has 2 standrad, JIS(japan industrial standra) start wiht Nxx and a european standars (DIN) start with DINxx....the biggest different of two type was the mounting, JIS Nxx battery usually use a bracket fastern over the battery while the DIn type battery use the mounting base with a sloted type bracket to hold the bottom of battery, PE is DIN type battery i believe now days all new proton model will use DIN type battery. If ask can use both type of battery in the same car answer is yes but yo need to modify the battery bracket or the Battery cable.

The last alpha of the battery model will decide the ' + ' terminal of the battery weather it is lef or wright because the battery terminal are not centre on the square casing.

try press the rear of ur car see it reflex back or not else send to SC for inspection....last time i sen my old junk to normal ah kow workshop mechanic said press one side corner of the car hard and release if the car bounce more than 3 time means either the absorber or coil spring degraded. dunno how true is it.

door sound are depen on the assebly actually after some year the door closing sound sure different it is due to the door rubber aging but this can be refine by adding sound proof door seal selling at automotive garage, buy a car of proton pretty much is depend on our luck, memeber here has different expiriance for their new car and so for used proton car, that is also why these thread still survive, we share and advise each other here about problem of the PE and of cause sharing the myth of enhance the percomance of PE. If you had make decision to opt for PE better to chose a high line u will not regret, below are the difference of highline over base line:
Allow rim, fog lamp (with on/off button intergraded at centre connsole), full body kit, chromed exhaust tip, remote trunk release, full leather seat, extra sunshade mirror for driver, PVC boots tray, engine hood and real trunk with fabric cover finishing (that improve abit on nvh), fold and collapsable rear seat, 4 original Blaupunk speaker, EBD, ABS, pre-tentional seat belt for driver, 4 disc break with bigger brake pump than others line of PE.

EWP only for certain time when they have promotion not sure we cna purchase or not, i remember when i sign agreement to purchase car SA got ask me want EWP or not but not sure how much extra to paid i said no EWP because lot of ppl said service out side is more cheaper than proton SC so i rejected. If you wanna claim EWP you must keep service your car at proton SC for the 5 years same as if u wan your life time 10 year wanrranty for power window you must keep service your car at proton SC life time 10 years. else they can reject your claim.

no no no.....wat i means is you have to check it wiht your SA weather u have EWP or not, like my case i got offer but i reject, if you purchanse a used car u have to ask your second hand car seller. what i means is if you wan to enjoy EWP or life time warranty u must ONLY service your car at proton SC.

PE has the auto radiator fan, when the engine running hot until certain temperature the radiator fan will keep run for few min. even we turn off engine, take out the key and lock the car.... it is normal......
