QUOTE(Beogatts @ Feb 19 2013, 05:10 PM) ok noted. wats the recommended timing belt brand tht is good for persona ? how much $$ does the brembo pad cost eh ? expensive ? just sharing.. i've recently changed brembo standard disc n pads.. its been 500KM ++ quite good for a try.. of course better grip than oem [attachmentid=3312015] [attachmentid=3312016] previously used rapid stop + oem disc but above feel much better. err... i... due to my really tight budget during last race and some emergency matter that i have to use my saving for race $$.. i desperately replace my 30% rapid stop pad with the bendix mtk that i bought in 2010 but never pakai.. still inside the box. braking power is ok but i think my vent disc shred kaw kaw pad the compound.. habis race i open the tyre. jadi around 50% left... QUOTE(NINJIAO @ Feb 19 2013, 10:33 PM) woh i don't dare to put 3 point tower bar becos heard people having dashboard vibration after install. all those uneven and vibration transfer to firewall then dashboard. There's actually some review between 3 point and 2 point, and the conclusion was minimal difference. im using it... nothing pun..and i think tower bar and fender bar serve diff purpose. tower bar is strengthen horizontally (mean left right won't flex much) and fender bar strengthen vertically (won't flex up and down). Actually, after install the tower bar, i do notice slightly jumpy feeling, thats why i search around and found fender bar might be the bar that i am looking for. Somemore it got more positive feedback than tower bar. Installation not expensive lor. got quotation liao. only thing he haven't reply me whether need welding or just bolt on. CNY busy kot. you can consider to put a rubber layer/sheet to lapik the firewall. my view on front strut bar - stiffening the front end, better cornering but loose some comfort. you can refer here for the demo http://www.ultraracing.my/home/knowledge-base/how-it-works/ don't think.. try it out and experience it. i've been experimenting with some bars and not all are providing desire result. its all depend on what you wanted the car to be and what setup you wanted. too stiff = bad, too flex = oso bad. QUOTE(WanTheBear @ Feb 20 2013, 12:08 PM) my personal experience aaa... maybe different with other. depending on your setup. my arb is 16mm UR, bigger bit that the OEM arb, put in UR rear strut bar 3 point = too stiff - behind tailhappy ! . maybe good for gymkhana thou, i decide to remove the rear 3pts tower bar for now. |

QUOTE(NINJIAO @ Feb 21 2013, 12:06 PM) Poison is strong with this one. wow.. u worried about engine vibration eh ? oMG..... I think i better save some cash for Mythelogy LCP then. don't quite like too much engine vibration. PE handling still a lil bit soft to me. so a more rigid chassis will help me achieve what i want. |

there is a lot of good tyre with reasonable price out there below RM200 for 195/60/15. those made in indon tyre are quite ok.
except china made. you have to look around, ask and the best thing is to test it. you might suprised on the offering. its a different case if you look for the better / best or maybe excellent tyre. you get what you pay for |
