QUOTE(kenjilew @ Jan 22 2013, 05:42 PM) Got TT? QUOTE(mengsuan @ Jan 26 2013, 01:41 AM) Doesnt make sense to me.. How is it possible for u to take 14secs for 0-100kmh? Mine without ETC also can do it around 10secs. With gadgets and mods i make it slightly above 9secs.. 14secs sounds like half throttling all the way only..QUOTE(jasonloh7906 @ Jan 26 2013, 05:17 PM) lol. Is ok, you are paying XD 110whp is difficult to be justified. For example, how can a Vios with lower engine output outpace a Persona? Its due to car weight and also gear ratio difference.. The mapping in a Vios makes it hold onto a gear more compared to Persona, where it will kick down a gear very eagerly.. So i would prefer a more efficient engine mapping compared to a more powerful engine, as im able to harness more output from it compared to wasting too much money to bump up the stock engine power to a high level instead.. I think I will go for NA, for me, if currently I am having 80 whp, I think if I can get the official figure of 110 is very sufficient for me edi. hahaha, well, I do regret not going to study automotive engineering somehow. but then, their fees is too high also. TC is good lah, but u will need a piggback system. how much is your car mileage? u should do it only after warranty if u ask me. |

QUOTE(NINJIAO @ Feb 20 2013, 08:22 PM) QUOTE(Cavino @ Feb 20 2013, 09:00 PM) For auto, its very bad. At morning jams, I lose count of how many car jumped in front of me coz my car could not move from stop position to close the gap fast. After LCP installation, there are still cars that can jump in front.....only those crazy saga, myvi and darn kancil that forced in and seemingly don't care about being side or backended. and it took u so long to think whether u wanted to install LCP or not.. and u research out a phD level thesis equivalent before doing.. Sometimes life is too short to worry too much.. just do it! Its the ONE mod that I regard as a MUST have for PE. Tak install tak tahu how bad is existing low end torque, once install, you'll wonder how can you ever drive PE without it. There is a minor increase of vibration and noise tho...but to fix one of the major weakness of PE low end, its super worth it coz it has very noticeable effect the moment you install it. I don't treat it as additional performance mod, I regard it as what Proton should have install in stock PE in the first place. |

QUOTE(NINJIAO @ Feb 20 2013, 10:23 PM) But how much can these LCP lightened?? The lightest it can go is around 1/3 of the orginal weight.. Any lesser than that its dangerous to the engine as the crankshaft wont be probably counterweighted..Smaller saiz.....hmm less power deliver to alternator, aircon... power steering i guess. so maybe not so cold aircon and less battery charge? |

QUOTE(NINJIAO @ Feb 20 2013, 11:09 PM) Ohh. so it can shave off like 1 kg off ya. but how about the saiz? is it the same? Dont be another Cavino.. hehehe.. It really is good and can give good improvements.. u should try it.. No regrets seriously..Just found out some problem with LCP from other site. It seems that it can't maintain the momentum when they don't press the pedal. accelerate fast, decelerate oso fast. LOL, ok, it's not crazy, but u got balls made out of adamantium. hahahha. but this LCP seems like a double edge sword. The gain and loss just seems too great. hahaha i think i will just stick with ori. I have been using mine for almost 40k km ady.. no side effects.. |

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Feb 21 2013, 08:25 AM) n vibration macam sudah hilang...rite? Yeah.. mb get used to it lah.. But when i drive stock car and compare with my car.. I can definitely feel like my car has quite some vibration and noise.. mayb used to d vibration/vibration gone... for lightfoot ppl, they will b happy aftr installing LCP...no need heavyfoot to push d car... QUOTE(kiatsim86 @ Feb 21 2013, 03:31 PM) yo boss... im living in puchong and i drive manual... but no cramps for me... is a matter of whats your preference... i find this quite offensive ini macam pun offensive.. I think time for u to swim in puchong river.. On another note, pickup truck sales went up by 250% in Feb for Puchong, especially for Ford Ranger XL and XLT due to the extreme 800mm wading depth, which is able to go across Puchong river when the need arise.. |

QUOTE(jacqueslim @ Feb 24 2013, 03:07 AM) Just finished watching Pimp My Ride Malaysia, feel that they just degrade the whole show and car lar.. I puke blood at the english the foreman were using.. Boom boom boom. .haha.. QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Feb 24 2013, 03:21 AM) Normally if a manufacturer quotes 100k km.. the belt is designed to withstand way longer.. the safety margin for operations is 100k.. but then no point changing a belt later as the damage if the belt snapping is catastrophic.. Full belting change cost less than RM300 only.. Drive slower a few hundred km can recover that amount ady..But fyi abong8 drives on the highway 90% of the time.. thats y he chalks up 93k km so easily.. and his highway speed is slower than my town driving speed.. The belt is barely stressed by him.. This post has been edited by ZenGTMM: Feb 24 2013, 03:29 AM |

Ignore the price written on the bottle, i bargain at spare part shop till RM95 at Padang Jawa, Shah Alam. well, internet sell rm100 mah... So far so good Car runs quietly, no noise no drama...that is until i FNF lah... Pairs well with most petrols...but shell...causes noisy rumbles and BHP and Caltex, a little underpowered and noisy. makes petronas somewhat more refined and better FC. RON97 petrols i tried twice, RM30 each time, 1. Petronas 2. Shell. Works better of course! Well i dare to try, do you? cheapest reputable synthetic eo... QUOTE(Cavino @ Mar 28 2013, 01:33 PM) Kanima punya Proton SC.... Hahahahaa.. told u service your car outside ady and dont bother bout warranty u tak nak dengar..Just went for 35K servicing yesterday at 2pm APPOINTMENT. Found a leakage for radiator or something. Have to replace a rubber ring called thermostat err....something. Should take abt 2 hours at most. SC asked me comes back another day for that fixed....the darn place close at 5-6pm..4 hours before closing. What use is appointment if you can't fix things on spot (ada stock) even when within 2 hours time span. At other car makes SC, when you make an APPOINTMENT for servicing and WARRANTY thingy, they try to fix for you on the spot. Ini pulak ask me come another day. My leaves very expensive lor...grrrr... Then asked to solve whrrring sound at steering, not irritating, just worry something gonna go after my warranty expire in May. Identified clock spring kong. The bugger opened up my steering, then find out no part replacement in their store and ask me to come back after they order one next week. OK that I accept. Then he fixed back my steering cover....now when I move my steering....kuek, krak, kuak, kia, uekkk...mother*****r....even worse. Then final minor bomb comes.....I have to pay for the coolant leak. Ok...coolant I pay ok, but the shit darn defective or low quality rubber is part of radiator and I have to pay for it also, ok that I accept, only RM5.....then I HAVE to pay for the workmanship somemore RM50 or more. What type of F**K-UP car warranty is PROTON giving....so conclusion.....PROTON 2 years F**K-UP WARRANTY is unlike other car makes, extremely selective and only big stuff is free, all other car parts and engine parts...and labour got to pay yourself. I think I will go back to HONDA next time. At least when they offer 3 years warranty, anything in the engine also got warranty, except truly wear and tear items like timing belt, etc. |

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Mar 28 2013, 02:06 PM) haha.. told ya proton quality gooding one.. can service outside without any worries. QUOTE(Cavino @ Mar 28 2013, 02:06 PM) Actually I already service outside at 25K. Service 30K and 35K at SC coz want to do warranty change....luckily clock spring got warranty but the workmanship....haiz... Not premixed.. The last time i change i saw them drain everything out, wash the bottle, pour 1L of coolant in then top up till full with water..Oh...btw....is our proton original coolant not pre-mixed...just realised that....when SC say they leakage will require coolant change....only need 1 liter. My City already require 3-4 pre-mixed liter liao.. |
