For auto, its very bad. At morning jams, I lose count of how many car jumped in front of me coz my car could not move from stop position to close the gap fast. After LCP installation, there are still cars that can jump in front.....only those crazy saga, myvi and darn kancil that forced in and seemingly don't care about being side or backended.

Its the ONE mod that I regard as a MUST have for PE. Tak install tak tahu how bad is existing low end torque, once install, you'll wonder how can you ever drive PE without it. There is a minor increase of vibration and noise tho...but to fix one of the major weakness of PE low end, its super worth it coz it has very noticeable effect the moment you install it. I don't treat it as additional performance mod, I regard it as what Proton should have install in stock PE in the first place.

But how much can these LCP lightened??
Smaller saiz.....hmm less power deliver to alternator, aircon... power steering i guess. so maybe not so cold aircon and less battery charge?

Ohh. so it can shave off like 1 kg off ya. but how about the saiz? is it the same?
Just found out some problem with LCP from other site. It seems that it can't maintain the momentum when they don't press the pedal. accelerate fast, decelerate oso fast.

but this LCP seems like a double edge sword.The gain and loss just seems too great. hahaha i think i will just stick with ori.

So far so good  Great for day to day driving...and when u need power, its practically on tap...
Car runs quietly, no noise no drama...that is until i FNF lah...

Pairs well with most petrols...but shell...causes noisy rumbles and BHP and Caltex, a little underpowered and noisy. makes petronas somewhat more refined and better FC. RON97 petrols i tried twice, RM30 each time, 1. Petronas 2. Shell.
Works better of course!

Kanima punya Proton SC....

Just went for 35K servicing yesterday at 2pm APPOINTMENT. Found a leakage for radiator or something. Have to replace a rubber ring called thermostat err....something. Should take abt 2 hours at most.

SC asked me comes back another day for that fixed....the darn place close at 5-6pm..4 hours before closing. What use is appointment if you can't fix things on spot (ada stock) even when within 2 hours time span.

At other car makes SC, when you make an APPOINTMENT for servicing and WARRANTY thingy, they try to fix for you on the spot. Ini pulak ask me come another day. My leaves very expensive lor...grrrr...

Then asked to solve whrrring sound at steering, not irritating, just worry something gonna go after my warranty expire in May. Identified clock spring kong.

The bugger opened up my steering, then find out no part replacement in their store and ask me to come back after they order one next week. OK that I accept. Then he fixed back my steering cover....now when I move my steering....kuek, krak, kuak, kia, uekkk...mother*****r....even worse.

Then final minor bomb comes.....I have to pay for the coolant leak. Ok...coolant I pay ok, but the shit darn defective or low quality rubber is part of radiator and I have to pay for it also, ok that I accept, only RM5.....then I HAVE to pay for the workmanship somemore RM50 or more.

What type of F**K-UP car warranty is PROTON giving....so conclusion.....PROTON 2 years F**K-UP WARRANTY is unlike other car makes, extremely selective and only big stuff is free, all other car parts and engine parts...and labour got to pay yourself.

I think I will go back to HONDA next time. At least when they offer 3 years warranty, anything in the engine also got warranty, except truly wear and tear items like timing belt, etc.

warranty ends liao... but tak pernah claim anything EXCEPT d whole engine...

Actually I already service outside at 25K. Service 30K and 35K at SC coz want to do warranty change....luckily clock spring got warranty but the workmanship....haiz...

Oh...btw....is our proton original coolant not pre-mixed...just realised that....when SC say they leakage will require coolant change....only need 1 liter. My City already require 3-4 pre-mixed liter liao..
