Caltex havoline nice with good protection. try semi first then try fully u will know the difference.
Shell become better or not we dunno since got so many better choice, we here have decided not to use XD
torco or LM better ah?

I never tried Caltex Havoline for my PE. How much is the price? I prefer FS become my mileage can easily reach 5000km less than 2 months.

The authorised Proton SC that I always go only have Shell, Top1 and TopGuard.

Btw, how's the FC?

Rock Oil.. nice oil. Dont feel any performance loss during track. Still good and never over heat.

Blitz can feel after few laps, no power.

FS will be Rm215. FC is nice. my car old edi pun can reduce the sound to almost no sound during idle.
comparatively to shell and petronas, it also reduce much vibration.
imagine when my engine mounting is still new I using petronas and shell can feel the vibration.
now using caltex with my engine mounting edi spoilt, the vibration is similiar.
the biggest problem we always encountered is that, we can't bring own oil which is much better than SC oil.

erm...the scar is about 1cm wide and 3cm long. my dad say just spay some white paint on it should be ok.
but i think it wont last long so i thinking of find a better alternative.
my car only 1 year old now, and it will be my ride for at least 10 year.

u need 2 cans of spray paint

1) anti-rust primer (comes in brown color and in a can)

spray a few coats of this. Let sit.

2) Spray paint, color of your choosing.

once the primer has set, spray a couple of coats of this to ur satisfaction.

this will last for a long long time. provided u use the primer.

time to grow some muscles and jack ur car son! flex.gif

i went to intan matang for major 20k service. i brought caltex semi. they recommend either shell or petronas. since my car still under warranty, the customer service lady even making faces and whispering with her colleagues. however, she admit that caltex eo is good tongue.gif but she bebel2 to me since warranty still ada.

i tried petronas & shell helix. petronas is so-so, shell helix - engine becomes garang. currently with caltex, i notice that the engine sound is low n not garang anymore biggrin.gif

Yeah....before try other EO, even Petronas also ok what......then after change to Caltex Havoline semi.....ni ama....only realised when using Petronas EO, engine vibration and noise so garang when compared with the now much more silent and less vibration engine. So die die also I don't want to change back to Petronas EO. If SC don't allow, I service outside lor.....anyway only a few more months warranty left.

In fact, I HAVE NEVER ACTUALLY heard of a case of engine void due to usage of another branded EO. Unless its a fake EO. Probably SC will blame it on that if there is an engine failure.

grumble.gif Sigh, the most basic thing to do when you're being fetched by others in others car is to be cautious when opening or touching the car body. grumble.gif I usually fetch my colleagues about to have lunch with them, and yesterday after I got home I realized that there are three lines induced by fingernails on the boot area where you pull to open the boot up grumble.gif. So far I ask no one has admitted ( lol obviously who would? ). I don't ask for anything more than to be cautious sad.gif.
