log horizon has more political/witty encounters
whereas
sao has more feeling/action encounters

different genre

sao is obviously more to shounen
whereas
log horizon is more to seinen

both are good, there is nothing such like better or worse

if it happened earlier while he still has more than 40% hp, he would have noticed and run away
akihabara and akatsuki wont be able to chase him due to the adventurer quantity buff (the katana), if too many gathered within the specified area, even 40% of total hp would be ridiculously high; while akatsuki was kiting, akihabara was able to cut his hp down to around 20%
my strategy would be to lower his hp as low as possible then cut off his teleportation and defense buff source and burst him down
but akihabara's didnt kill him, instead they locked him at critical hp, meaning that he has to hold that big block of ice with his hands else he would have died, and the rest, you watched it

if you like politics and was a mmo "raid" gamer, Log Horizon > SAO 100 times
if you want some harem and action SAO > Log Horizon a small margin

hmm, I find both are quite interesting tho, sao and LH, s1 and s2
diff ppl have diff taste :/
btw, I realize whatever anime/manga/LN that I watched/read I found them quite interesting, and never get bored, so my opinion kind of "weak" in term of convincing haha~

another nice ep this week, more depiction on the characters
