QUOTE(xchrissyz @ Jul 31 2014, 07:32 PM)
*recalling the time when pimples/acne started becoming part of my life*

It started during my high school time and there were continuos breakouts on my forehead initially then i made sure i pin my hair up (our high school's rule is to keep bangs at all time above the eyebrows) and things got better as my bangs was really thick.

No longer then breakouts started to shift to my chin and they told me it was caused by constipation and i was really really an unhealthy person i never gave a shit about what i consumed at all. No one taught me so and going out to school and stuffs it was really a tough job to get really 'healthy' food. We just eat what our friends eat. Thats how a teenage girl rolls ><

OILY T ZONE has always been my struggle. Its gross at times and i used tissue paper to absorb the oil away but again hygiene problem? Stopped doing so after being 'advised' by people.

I started to put on make ups at the age of 16 and oily T zone wasn't pleasing at all. I used a few brands of skin care products from drug store such as Biore etc and they didnt affect much on me.

I started to do some research and I tried KIELH'S until today im still using their cleanser it has been 3 years + I tried their toners etc they caused redness on my face sad.gif Some said that bcs Khiel's is us based skin care so they might not suit asians' face type?
Toner: Nuetrogena Alcohol Free Toner (blue packaging)
Moisturizer (only before makeup): Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel
Foundation: Benefit hello flawless oxygen wow

I applied oxy/clean n clear/ any other drug store brand of pimple cream and i realised that JUST LET IT POP ALREADY dont try to apply pimple cream and stuffs to let them disappear in a way that they might just breakout on somewhere else nearby

I visited many famous skin doctor and their medicines give were either too strong that they actually hardened my pimples and left a weird popup on my skin or they just burnt my skin and now my skin got so sensitive and so thin. =(((

I go to facial once in a month and for sure right after facial treatment my skin will get super irritated and at super big pimples popping out I REALLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND and thats when i have to stay home for 3-4 days to wait for all the breakouts to be done messing with me and the rest of the day i dont really get breakouts anymore.

TRY EATING A BALANCE PH DIET!

have more fruits like carrot and tomatoes (Vitamin A)
and more alkaline forming fruits (acidic in taste) such as lemon (lemon water for daily consumption is really a good habit), kiwi (i've been eating them at least one in days; daily and so many ppl realised that my skin is so much fairer), cucumber, broccoli, oranges. Those food are all high in Vitamin C. For people who dont have time you can still buy supplement too but of course raw fruits are always the best.

There's one night cream that i tried and it works really good on me but recently i came across to a beautician she told me that there's one ingredient in this night cream that is constantly removing the outer layer of the skin (metabolizing the skin) and at the same time preventing breakouts because the cream prevented them to pop out and this is not a right thing to do. Then i started to ......... think for day and night because when you thought you've finally met the perfect PIMPLES PREVENTING + BRIGHTENING + WHITENING skin care then professional came to stop you

=((((

So i decided to cut down the usage of the night cream </3
and start eating as healthy as possible

Constantly reminding myself YOUR FACE IS WHAT YOU EAT

HEALTHY TUMMY = BEAUTIFUL SKIN

hihi.. i love kielh's cleanser too! i have been using ultra facial cleanser for the past 2 years but now i am using their latest calendula cleanser which is abit too dry for me. The calendula toner is also okay for me as i have.. complicated skin type! i have oily t-zone, sensitive and flaky(sometimes) cheeks.. /. \ i am not sure my skin type is oily, dry or sensitive or all of it! icon_question.gif

And, yes totally agree with u. HEALTHY TUMMY = BEAUTIFUL SKIN! and dont forget beauty sleep too!
