pokemon blue/red/gold.. nothing beats these games..i have played several top tiers game such as uncharted, killzone, ff... for me..no game can beat pokemons.. stil rmbr the excitement when playing this kinda game.. heard ni no kuni is kinda simialr to pokemon, gonna try this game when budget permits..

I played pokemon games since im kid. All pokemon's games awesome. All new games release ill think twice before buy it. But pokemon games sure buy it when it release asap.

"Best" is very subjective.
I wouldn't say it is the best game but the good old versions of Pokemon are awesome.

As for pokemon, i love the 'structure' of the game mechanic, but maybe because i grew older i wanted more 'mature' pokemon like series,

the alternative, shin megami tensei series and all of it spin off. It have the god/godesses and mythology that you can have as your monsters and go

collect/fuse/create them all. It's fun and satisfying also it's and rpg and more 'mature' theme. Pokemon got it own fanbase and i know it's a fantastic game,

we all have 'some' game that we attached to and consider the best game ever.

it's the only reason i still play my NDSL.. but after this...perhaps need the 3DS since this is the last pokemon game for nds platform.. i've been waiting for them to develop pokemon in the next gen console so that we could enjoy the beauty of it.

Hi TS, Pokemon is good. But Ni no kuni...YOU CANNOT CAPTURE WITH A POKEBALL. ITS RANDOM CHANCE BASED (normally 6% capture rate some 4%, 2%).

I just finish Ni no kuni, ought to let you know the monster capturing part to avoid heartache. Pokemon has more of the "gotta catch em all" feel than ni no kuni.

and There will be new fairy pokemon type coming out (to go against dragon type), saw the post somewhere about it in gaming website.

one problem with all pokemon games (the rpg one, not something like pokemon stadium)

there are not in console. always portable

I think the pokemon genre is getting more mature starting pokemon black n white, and getting more complicated. I think it is a great series. But to crown it as the best.. Well I'd have to think twice.

Speaking of Pokemon ...

Last time, I bought a Gameboy just to find out what the heck is Pokemon. Remembered I bought the Blue thing. Was playing it for like 20 hours. Then, my friend was like pinjam the Gameboy for a few minutes just to test it out. Already told this idiot not to save the game but he still overwrite my save file. And it has only one save slot. Entire game was like reset back to the beginning. Got pizzed off and sold it off.
