 QUOTE The March issue of Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine is announcing this Friday that an anime adaptation of Shimoku Kio's Genshiken: Second Season sequel manga has been green-lit. The manga continues the adventures of the otaku college club "The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture."
Kodansha Comics will publish the second volume of this manga in North America this March. Del Rey published the first Genshiken manga series as well as the Kujibiki Unbalance spinoff in North America. They ruined Madarame, ruined Ogiue and almost ruined Sasahara. At least Ohno and Tanaka wasn't so bad. Kucchi gets a new flair and Saki is actually okay. Sue was f*cking brilliant, though.
Either way, Production IG delivered the judo moment quite wonderfully. The comic timing was well done, too.
