Not to show off, but to show that it is very hard to get that speed under normal cond due to congestion in my area. only mange to get after 6am.
*update: The speed is after exceed quota and restarting modem.
Hopefully Maxis are not just giving a weekend giveaway

Can you surf tonite? Do you have friend or any maxis user in your area? Might be tower issue like my area. Cannot surf/connect sometime. Still open case with maxis for more than 1 week already.
What CS say, i'll take with a pinch of salt. Once we complain on slowdown issue, the 1st thing they check is the Quota. If the Quota is exhausted, then they got very easy excuse to answer us even if it is not so. If Quota not exhausted yet, then only they take it a bit serious and start to check for other possible root cause.

Just switch your dns to static google dns should be fine.

Those asking bout 6GB/30GB cap, stop asking since we can never answer you. But make use this tips :

Legacy/Biz subscriber:
1) Continue surfing like usual. If you never reach 6GB/30GB by end of cycle date, then just shut up.
2) If you DO reach 6GB/30GB, but don't get throttled, then still shut up.
3) If you DO reach 6GB/30GB and then suffer slow down, then directly making official complain to Maxis Forum/appropriate channel, and then report here.

Subscriber to be (Legit/non Legit):
1) Ask and question your agent till he wanna cry.
2) PM existing subscriber and then whatever answer you get, still shut up.

Maxis line very bad today (Friday 1 Mac 2013) in Batu Pahat. Always return to UMTS state with less 50kbps DL nearly on all cell. Getting tired to reconnect each time to switch cell. Positively think they are 'upgrading' something to the tower today. huh.

Just close a case with them couple days ago for slow NIGHT speed. But now got slow DAY speed pulak.
Will reopen case if this problem persist till this weekend. Need to be fully armed before attacking. haha..

Can you please double confirm the slow speed today and tomorrow and day after tomorrow (better at late night) to ensure it is not tower/congestion problem. So far i did not face the situation. Time will tell.
