haha..my internet connection will suddenly gone even that it show connected.

It show no internet access. Sometimes while gaming, will facing sudden high ping plus disconnect.

My connection has been good tonight.
The only problem is the connection speed will suddenly drop from time to time and i'll have to reset the page i'm browsing.

So, the connection is not good then,

your problem is similar to me, unstable connection via direct plug in, after I tweak my modem, the connection become stable again... When using router such as TP Link MR3420 , the connection becomes stable too

Nope, I just plug my E398 to my MR3420 with openwrt.

I guess Maxis is having issue with their main backhaul provider in Penang
