To look for this item, I know the possible location but...does it have to be in a particular difficulty? as in Normal, Hell? Inferno?

You didn't have the Staff???

oasis Act 2, whatever difficulty. either 6 o'clock out from the sewer waypoint, or 4 o clock from the bridge to the floodgates.

Note: it is hard to come by.

tats why, I belum dapat the rainbow liquid and I can't remember which recipe I have for the staff of herding. I need to make sure it's inferno level.

u can get the liquid rainbow on any difficulty .. normal would be the easiest/fastest... the staff of herding can be later upgraded to Inferno Staff shud u want to open Inferno Whimsey
one of the hardest component to obtain as it depends on 2 random occurrence 1) save the merchant & 2) presence of mysterious chest.

u might want to look for the ghosts (rescue merchant) while u key farm act2 .. hehe at least sumthing xtra to do .. i know most ppl skip going down the narrow path while looking for KW in Oasis but its worth to check if u hvnt found the Liquid Rainbow.

i never get something useful in pony level.. waste my gold make/upgrade that staff or grinding..

If you wanna speed farming for Liquid Rainbow.. just take this short route, WP to Path of Oasis, relog if tak ada
