QUOTE(omanjedi @ Jan 22 2013, 10:19 PM) guys..my wife is thinking of getting a new car with bonnet for my family... Last time I also was considering Forte 1.6 and also Inspira 1.8. Personally, I feel the 1.6 Forte does not give the much needed power where as the Inspira, on stock setup is good enough if you're not a power freak like Jeremy Clarkson who screams "POWAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!" whenever he steps on the throttle.previously Preve was the main choice but after going through all the pages of complaints I believe that we should not take the risk..starts from the complete list of Mazda 2, FFiesta Sedan, HCITY, FORTE, Almera we come out with the final 2 choice: Inspira & Forte 1.6. Honestly, if possible we would like to know your ownership experience whether the car is considered good or you have some reservation in promoting it. Personally I like the features on the Forte more, but however due to services factor, spare, Mivec engine factors i tend to believe it will be more economical in long run to own the Inspira. Your opinions are well appreciated. Thank you As much as I like about Forte's design and all of it's features, I do feel, going back to basic will do good as it will not complicate your life afterwards and it has proved me good, my car has served me well for almost 1 year without any major or minor setback. Well, accept for the bump stopper issues which has been rectified by proton on newer batch Inspira. If you're a HP freak, then you'll be happy to know that this car is like a real life living vampire that likes to suck dry your money until you end up with nothing left. True story here.. |

[/quot Anything consume fuel less than my neo cps is considered very good already. I just can't believe how fast it consumes the fuel. 1 full tank from Shah Alam to Dungun also not enough - at highway speed 110 [/quote] Inspira fuel tank is at 59L..whats the fuel tank of Neo? Once you've know the fuel tank of Neo, only then you can see how much Inspira drinks fuel compared to your Neo. |

QUOTE(RahXeph0n @ Feb 17 2013, 12:41 AM) Hello fellas, Long time since I've popped by. Hope everyone in the club is doing awesome 1. you can fuel up using Ron97..it will reduce the knocking sound. This query is targeted towards 1.8MT owners: Do you guys notice any engine knocking sounds? Mine is quite noticeable on low revs when you gun the engine (e.g, when going over a bump in second gear then giving some gas to pick up speed) I've noticed it since about a year ago, even before I got the ECU adjusted (by one of our own here). I'm not sure if the re-mapping has made it worse. Recently I got my steering rack replaced because it was squeeking (warranty). Proton sent some engineers to check on the car because the warranty cost them a lot (Japan part). I queried the engineer about the sound I noticed, and he immediately said engine knocking. He said the knocking was because our fuel was unsuitable, and Proton had to make adjustments to make it work with Malaysia's fuel. This made me think, that if the remapping might have messed things up (if it was in any case based on Japanese numbers). I've tested two other inspira 1.8MT cars. The knocking is there, but not as audible as mine. If you want to replicate, go over a large bump in 2nd gear - typically your revs will drop to around 1k, then gun your engine. I can also sometimes hear the knocking when cruising at around 80KMH in 5th gear, when revs are slightly above 2k RPM. Hope to hear some replies. Would like to resolve any issues to prevent any further damage >.< 2. you can find k3 and consult with him about this. 3. you can go to halfcut shop and try to source out a 4b11 engine ( last time I check, its not that expensive at all) 4. you can also try to sell this car and straight go buy veyyoooss Jayy or Kayyy faive (troll mode on) |
