insurance claim lambat. and my friend in this line told me usually what u claim u will get only half of it either in value or watsoever lol.
i kena left hand side, fog lamp still ok. is a junction sloping down abit, turning to left, in front of me got one lorry, i was rushing to work, so i stopped at junction, then look at incoming traffic from right, cleared, and i assume the lorry will already move, so i let go my brake, didn't even pressed the gas pedal yet, then my left front already kena the lorry rear metal bar lol...

Your fren is the line is giving you kok n bull story.... unless you purposely under inso your car, they will pay FULL value of the claim, as your Lala is still new....

Cars older than 5 years will qualify for used/recond/compatible parts while cars 10 years above have to pay "betterment fees" on top of the used/recond/compatible parts....

If its a small dent or cracked bumper only, try finding used Lala fronts or LGT fronts (this seems to be much preferred).... u can get the from a few hundred (used) to 1-2K for Taiwan PP LGT bumpers... this part cost dont justify the loss of inso NCB/NCD....

If u broke one front lamp.... then u can consider claim as one lamp itself costs 1.7K (Proton price)....

I also kena few months back. Front and back. Claim insurance kawtim in 2 weeks time. Push them kaw2 to estimate your car and submit to insurance and ask them to call the adjuster to come and inspect your car. After that ask them straight away start to repair la no need wait approval whatsoever.Very fast can kawtim one yours i think roughly one week plus only

hence like u proposed, i'm looking for used lala fronts esp red plum. LGT fronts i no budget to spend on, coz i still need to knock and paint my bonnet(RM180+RM350) as well, and the fender seems hlj, most probably will replace... i think around RM1k just for fender and RM300 for paint (quoted by Proton Sect. 13).

Lamp is quoted RM1869.14 by proton sect 13 lol, but i've already deal with a mudah guy, he's letting go at RM850, COD this week.

mine oso kena sandwich last time..front & back. no half dun worry..my case claim near 15k for front and back bumper + bonnet + fan.

my fren altis back kena a bit claim 8k..

headlamp u can get aftermarket projector oredi under 1k

i give up hope on my fog lamp ady..,i canot justify to spend 1k just to replace the lamp...just leave it coz only the glass pecah,.,,even change oso later pecah again susah
