Hi everyone! I am going for my internship later this July. I am applying to a few mid-tier accounting firms because I don't have transportation so I will have to choose those accessible by LRT. I have a few in mind, can anyone give their opinion on these firms for internship?

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Mar 17 2014, 03:35 PM) In KL, PwC is accessible via public transport as well, so does BDO. Thanks, I am aware of that. I was just asking opinions about middle-tier firms, coz i received some mixed feedbacks from a bunch of seniors about Big4.. This post has been edited by adrian92: Mar 17 2014, 09:05 PM

QUOTE(HawkreiN @ Mar 17 2014, 11:32 PM) Aim for big 4. If anything, your experience in a medium firm will be discounted. And, if its an internship, try it out for yourself. Thats the whole point of an internship right? Do not simply take the words of your seniors as the absolute truth. Think about it, do commercial firms seek ex-big 4 auditors or ex-mid tier auditors? Prestige matters. Agreed. There are smaller clients in big 4 too, adrian92 will get the experience of the "whole audit process"... Thanks guys for the advice. I will take them into consideration. =)
