Hi All,

Can anyone share with me which medium size firm is better in terms of the culture? I had been offered the audit associate role from Baker Tilly & GT, reading from other previous thread and postings, it seems Baker Tilly might be a better option...but I would like to hear from all the sifus here...I'm also waiting for a reply from CH & BDO.

I'm from Penang but looking for job in KL. I had decided to accept the offer from Baker Tilly as I just found out one of my senior is in there and he said most of the seniors and Managers in Baker Tilly is helpful and willing to teach. Culture wise will depends on which audit gorup I'm being offered to...Tried to asked the HR but he refuse to tell me which group I'm assigned to sad.gif Anyway, thanks Blofeld for responding biggrin.gif Are you working in Baker Tilly?

I just send my resume to their recruitment e-mail. I waited for 2 weeks than call their office to follow up. the HR person I was put through take note of my resume and invited me for a group interview once they had decided on the date.
I did help one of my friend to ask the HR person, and he shared with me they do not have anymore vacancy for fresh graduate for now...but he will revisit my friend profile in Jan/Feb depending on the vacancy. Maybe you can call the HR to follow up. good luck Kentroy smile.gif

Nope. I happened to visit both offices some years ago and I remember there was a stark difference between the two offices.

Question :

1) When is the recruitment period for these mid-tier?

2) Is it possible for those staff who now current work in a small firm go to mid-tier?

As some of them seems no reply for more than 2 weeks. Thinking if i missed the recruitment period of these firm.

1. Accounting firms (small, mid-tier or Big 4) generally hire ppl throughout the year.

2. Yes you can. I have even seen a Big 4 audit manager moving to a small firm. And then she went back to Big 4 again.
