ROSEWILL RK9000 REVIEW OPPORTUNITY


We're hoping to gather some senior members in reviewing the RK9000. It's probably nothing new for you folks but many have no idea what exactly and why exactly this keyboard rocks. We are going to start with a campaign for some selected members to review the keyboards. Once the reviews are submitted, you have to pass the keyboard to the next person. At the end of the day, we will do a random pick (using "the hat") and one of the reviewers will be able to keep the keyboard free of charge.

We are considering sending all keyboards in for review - MX RED, MX BLUE, MX BLACK (MX BROWN not available until Late February)

Typing from my ducky 9087 g2 pro pbt now (blue switch).
Need to get use to bumps and the clicky sounds.
Just wondering some keys click loud some are less noisy

Keyboards are ment to be dirty, especially if you eat in front of it and smoke too...

On a side note, heavyarm's Rosewill promotion has ended! Now I can sell my keyboard for more!

hi sifu i want to ask. what is the best mechanical for me (and of course cheap). i use it for typing document and light gaming.

Yup, red will be the fastest as you can glide through the keys like playing a Piano. The problem though is that you may have higher margin of error. At least I do and seems like most people also do. I'm not a pro typist.

linear switches are smooth yes. But, i would  hardly call it butter smooth. Especially when you can feel you can feel something scratchy inside.

Basically the thing that appeal to me is the custom CNC milled Aluminum.

Other than that, the switches are custom Clears + 62g, and lubed. Feels very very smooth even for a very tactile switch that is the clears. Also, you can get the custom layout to fit the Cherry Double shot keys.

why so fussy about the extra 5 inches of numpad =\  straight the the Rk9000.

there are many people who have small table, also tkl keyboard has shorter range between mouse and keyboard.

Gamers basically will tend to get a TKL more

Logitech G series will last you at least 3 years. Even after the coating has peeled off, it will continue to work.

It's really simple. For example,

Costar manufactures keyboard.

Filco ordered 2000 with so and so configuration

Cooler Master then comes in order few thousand with so and so configuration

Rosewill comes in and order another few thousand of the boards with certain configuration.

At the end of the day, who has larger quantity would have better pricing. There's also material cost but usually for big quantities like few thousands, they don't matter much. Remember who owns Rosewill. That's why we can offer 1:1 exchange for all products from Rosewill. They don't manufacture their own, so the brand and service is really just up to the company.

This is similar in GPU industry. Reference card comes out of Nvidia's factory. Different companies label them. Repack, and sell with different brand premium. It's the same card.
