QUOTE(ainuddin @ Jan 30 2013, 02:17 PM) opa, my bad boss. the key works but as a 'Fn' key to adjust the keyboard LED and computer volume, not the standard right-click menu pop-out key. oh Ducky... yah, Ducky don't have menu key, instead they replace it with FN..The confusion comes from the custom key cap I own a Ducky as well lol.. QUOTE(0168257061 @ Jan 30 2013, 02:25 PM) Yup, they left white keykap version. RK9100 is plate mounted tooKR9000 loh, notice that red metal plate I'm not sure KR9100, but isn't it plate-mount too ? QUOTE(G_KeN @ Jan 30 2013, 02:37 PM) Just pre-ordered Ducky Shine 2 limited edition from Heavy Arm! disappoint quality? only if you're so picky that you compare everything down to the last screw.. Hopefully the keyboard wont be as disappoint as many would have said as of late. as for now, i still not sure is the leather wrist rest or any wrist rest worth the extra cost? i bought a mousepad with a wrist rest not too long ago and the experience was 'unpleasant'. Enjoy your board |

QUOTE (CyntrixTech @ Jan 31 2013, 04:49 PM) ROSEWILL RK9000 REVIEW OPPORTUNITY We're hoping to gather some senior members in reviewing the RK9000. It's probably nothing new for you folks but many have no idea what exactly and why exactly this keyboard rocks. We are going to start with a campaign for some selected members to review the keyboards. Once the reviews are submitted, you have to pass the keyboard to the next person. At the end of the day, we will do a random pick (using "the hat") and one of the reviewers will be able to keep the keyboard free of charge. We are considering sending all keyboards in for review - MX RED, MX BLUE, MX BLACK (MX BROWN not available until Late February) Whoever wants in. Quote and add your name here and we will contact you for more details 1. Neo|ofGeo 2. pristine 3. Ireferno 4. wyh 5. JohnDiew0107 PS: Everybody who reviewed professionally will be given a small gift as a small gesture of appreciation count me in, I've done brief review for Ducky 9008 Shine, 9008G2, 9008G2pro, PLUM MX104M and POKER |

seems promising, but the price still not cheap enough.. perhaps another RM30-40 cut would suit the entry level pricing and quality.

QUOTE(KayK @ Feb 5 2013, 09:55 AM) CyntrixTech, how much does that cost? Good to have another TKL/compact lover out there should be out of my budget... Ireferno, i did look into Rosewill, value for money i would say... with clean design, i like it the clean look... main reason i'm looking at the CM keyboards is because of the compact size... Quick Fire Rapid would be a solid choice because of the obvious reason. Quick Fire TK, I have no comment, since it is quite new in the market. But some TK owners here are satisfied with it, maybe you can inquire input from them. Otherwise, you can look for forummer kaiserreich as he brings in KBT Race and [bulk] Vortex Poker. |

QUOTE(melvintcs @ Feb 7 2013, 09:35 AM) that is Japanese keyboard layout, for switching input method like Roman to Hiragana, and Hiragana to Kanji..not sure about which key perform which as I never used one before. QUOTE(Ireferno @ Feb 7 2013, 09:36 AM) keep in mind that is Japanese layout, not the usual US-ANSI layout, but that spacebar is cute lulzThis post has been edited by JohnDiew0107: Feb 7 2013, 09:44 AM |

QUOTE(Ireferno @ Feb 7 2013, 10:01 AM) it's more like easier to use, as I type Japanese occasionally, using the standard keyboard is quite troublesome, especially when you have Hiragana - Katakana - Kanji - Romaji to switch..I could imagine how those 2 keys would help speeding up Japanese typing. but for most of us, we would easily hit the wrong key... QUOTE(rurushu @ Feb 8 2013, 11:00 PM) so you secured your filco tenkeyless? manage to find the dealer who still have the board I wanted in stock...hmm.... that poker pro.... are they using the standard key profile like poker I? PS: wanted to ask for a long time, the capslock, on most OEM board (rosewill, filco and ducky) are they centered or off-centered? and what about cherry (or rather GMK now) capslock? are they centered or off-centered? what is the concern over here when choosing the keyboard? coz been seeing once in awhile people mentioned about the capslock being the troublesome one apart from the spacebar.... |
