i don't think they will host another nyan keycap. but you will have to be patient and wait for geekhack for another round if you wanted it.

i stopped bringing in leopold for quite sometimes due to increase competitor. but if individual still wants them, i can still get for them via personal group buy or something like that because 2~3 people sharing the shipping and i will be able to cover shipping cost myself without having to charge the international shipping charge to people that wanted to buy the keyboard.

What's the difference between Ducky 9008 Shine and the Shine 2

Small QC improvements here and there, and lighting functionality IINM.

That's the only correction. During Shine ERA, Ducky QC was pretty poor. It's significantly better now.

as mentioned, Shine 2 has improvements on manufacturing and QC thanks to Shine 1's response.

Of course, I still think that Shine works pretty well.

Featurewise, Shine 2 has more Lighting options which is customizable.

I don't think you can get Shine 1 anymore anyway, and I don't think the price differs much from the Shine 1 then and now.

Pointless to get the Shine now as mentioned. Shine 2 is only RM 419 after rebate. 2 more weeks to go.

cyntrixtech I'm swapping keyboards lol, not buying a new one.

Klaxon and DSA Sphericals combined would account for almost half of a KMAC 1.2 (incl. 4S and mod & solder services). Talk about wallet annihilation. Am wondering if it is even worth the cash.

If you swap a RK9100 with a Shine, you probably just downgraded yourself.

Well in terms of build quality, they don't differ too much. In terms of features, and upgradability, definitely yes
