QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Feb 16 2013, 03:25 AM) Actually...I suspect this is not a separately sold keyap set. This may be a new SKU. The key caps are not for shine 2. The LEDs can't shine through. The key lock led is missing on F10 and F12 so this is not for Zero. This is very likely a new SKU from Ducky. If that's true, expect this to price at RM 349-369. So we have a price structure like: Cherry G80-3800 - RM 199 -Standard Layout (Low profile keycaps) -NON STANDARD MOUNTING (you cannot use any other keycaps despite the above) -Cherry Stabilizer -ABS Caps -NKRO over USB Ducky Zero - RM 249 -Classic layout -Cherry Stabilizer -ABS Caps -NKRO over USB -Win Lock Key -Volume Key- -Made in China Razer BW Tournament - RM 269 Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid TKL MX Black - RM 279 -Classic layout -Costar Stabilizer? -ABS Caps -NKRO over? -Media Key -Made in Taiwan Rosewill RK9000 - RM 299 -Classic layout -Costar Stabilizer -ABS Caps -NKRO over PS2 -Made in Taiwan (Costar) Cooler Master Quickfire Pro MX Black - RM 315 Razer BW Expert 2013 - RM 339 Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid TKL MX Red - RM 339 Ducky New Board - RM 369 -Classic layout -Dye Sub PBT Caps -Cherry Stabilizer -Media keys -NKRO -Made in XXXX Cooler Master Storm Trigger MX Black - RM 369 Cooler Master Quickfire Pro MX Red - RM 379 Rosewill RK9100 - RM 399 -Non Standard Layout -Cherry Stabilizer -ABS Caps -Media Keys -NKRO -Blue Backlit -Made in China Razer BW Ultimate Mac Edition - RM 399 Ducky Shine 9087G2PRO TKL PBT - RM 399 -Classic layout -PBT Caps -Cherry Stabilizer -Media keys -NKRO -Made in Taiwan Rosewill RK9200 Helios - RM 4x9 (tentative) -Classic layout -Costar Stabilizer -ABS Caps -NKRO over PS2 -Dual Backlit - Red/Green -Made in Taiwan (Costar) Razer BW Ultimate Stealth - RM 419 Cooler Master Storm Trigger MX Red - RM 429 Ducky Shine 2 9087 TKL - RM 429 -Classic layout -ABS Caps -Cherry Stabilizer -Media keys -NKRO -Blue/Red/Green/White/Yellow/Orange/Pink LED (one per sku) -Fully customizable LED lighting -Made in Taiwan Razer BW Ultimate 2013 - RM 439 Filco Majestouch 2 - RM 4x9? -Classic layout -Costar Stabilizer -ABS Caps -NKRO over PS2 -Made in Taiwan (Costar) Ducky Shine 2 9008 - RM 459 -Classic layout -ABS Caps -Cherry Stabilizer -Media keys -NKRO -Blue/Red/Green/White/Yellow/Orange/Pink LED (one per sku) -Fully customizable LED lighting -Made in Taiwan I don't know about you but I think we have quite a big selection in Malaysia at every price point. Haven't even entered all the other options yet. Anybody care to fill in? |

Added Razer and Cooler Master. Someone can look up Corsair's pricing and Armageddon. Might also want to edit and fill in more info on the OEM, and etc. All Razer keyboards are OEM by i-One

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Feb 18 2013, 01:50 AM) Keycaps noob here, 99% of the double shots in the market is made of ABS, the 1% (or less) is probably DECK's PBT double shot or custom made. I heard that due to the characteristics of PBT made it difficult to mold into double shot = higher cost.just want to ask, double shot keycaps are all ABS material? Compared to PBT, which one is really better However, I wouldn't compare ABS double shot with plain PBT since one must understand that key cap durability is not equal to printing durability. PBT - High heat resistant up to 150c - Resistant to solvents - Mechanically Strong - Surface texture does not wear out as fast - Expensive ABS - low heat resistant = MELT - low resistant to solvents = MELT - surface texture wear out faster (shinny) - CHEAP - Light Weight Double shot is just a type of printing method, and yes, it will last as long as you don't put a hole at your key cap. for PBT, dyesub would be the best printing method. |

QUOTE(Ireferno @ Feb 18 2013, 09:44 AM) those pictures are exactly from taobao, so its almost certain this person buys from taobao also and re-sell them for profit. |

Those rainbow color caps everywhere in taobao. not really nice imo. while the classic one looks better. btw, still interested to get white filco, those white is not pure, kinda tempting. |
