Actually if you are not changing the keycaps, the board is well worth the money. I don't know what is the price of 87 PBT on Taobao, I suspect around RM 100 landed?

The board itself is only RM 300 with PBT cap biggrin.gif
*
Which board Rm300 with PBT cap ?

It's totally up to you how you want to switch and configure them.
But your 6gv2 might a bit limited especially on L shape enter.

99% of the double shots in the market is made of ABS, the 1% (or less) is probably DECK's PBT double shot or custom made. I heard that due to the characteristics of PBT made it difficult to mold into double shot = higher cost.

However, I wouldn't compare ABS double shot with plain PBT since one must understand that key cap durability is not equal to printing durability.

PBT
- High heat resistant up to 150c
- Resistant to solvents
- Mechanically Strong
- Surface texture does not wear out as fast
- Expensive

ABS
- low heat resistant = MELT
- low resistant to solvents = MELT
- surface texture wear out faster (shinny)
- CHEAP
- Light Weight

Double shot is just a type of printing method, and yes, it will last as long as you don't put a hole at your key cap.

for PBT, dyesub would be the best printing method.

Understood. nod.gif
thanks for the heads up. biggrin.gif

What is the point starting thread like that knowing keyboard enthusiast will have their own way to source themselves.

Everybody knows taobao now. Agent also got.

Maybe just side business.

not sure if this will be sales related or not, just pm me the model you want and i'll quote you the things later, you'll be mostly paying for the keyboard alone and i'll be absorbing the international shipping fee. just a community service.

P/S : Topre and leopold only
*
Kalo Leopold, do you bring other model ?

i don't think they will host another nyan keycap. but you will have to be patient and wait for geekhack for another round if you wanted it.

i stopped bringing in leopold for quite sometimes due to increase competitor. but if individual still wants them, i can still get for them via personal group buy or something like that because 2~3 people sharing the shipping and i will be able to cover shipping cost myself without having to charge the international shipping charge to people that wanted to buy the keyboard.
*
Intl shipping around how much ?
which method ?

Ducky 9087 G2 Pro PBT smile.gif

Else you find CMStorm QuickFire Rapid Blue Switch - like obsolete everywhere in Malaysia, that's why I bought the ducky. Though it's a lot more expensive, well, just trying different brand whistling.gif

Well, just thanks to that distributor.
Half-dead like that very hard for people to get. Ask, everywhere also no stock.

You still have many other choices too.
