QUOTE(lksing78 @ Jun 17 2014, 01:10 AM) For me... For Sentry build. What is the ideal CDR?Buff companion skill- cause they are there most of the time.. Folllow you every where.. Instant dmg done when spoted mobs. These little guy can help you do dmg.. Wolf, 2 ferret, bat, raven, boar, spider and raven.. My pet can peck from 2m - 5m max crit dmg each. (not from harrington buff).. Not much but at fast speed it can take down a single elite in few sec. Buff Cluster Arrow- this is your main damage dealer.. No other hatred spender skill is higher then this... So buff them.. This is no brainer. Reduce Cool down- for sentry this is important to cast them out faster, even 1 sec fast can kill alot of thing.. Choose CDR instead of ias.. Credit to wKkaY on this for open my eye on this. BTW nat slayer drop for me last night.. Not as epic but have 10% dmg on both Still looking for 10%dmg 2H xbow... Really hard this one.. |

QUOTE(lksing78 @ Jun 18 2014, 01:25 AM) WOw great wlcling I think 2Hxbow and 1H are quite close to each other, looking at the video. But it would be better if you just compare using normal weapon and not the extra buff like Calamity..It wont be fair fight againt other weapon..Ok since you given the idea of this ,here I post the damage done on my Arcane Barb and Nat Slayer. Hmmm here's my decent DH vs Ghom in T6 2H xbow + quiver » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the weapon » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and here using 1H+ same quiver » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the weapon » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I let the viewer to be judge of this... How about 2 x 1H? |

QUOTE(wlcling @ Jun 20 2014, 02:47 AM) more ghom t6 tests on sentry build Thanks. Nice findings.2h xbow with emerald & quiver (with m4d contagion) - 22s 2h xbow with ruby & quiver (with m4d contagion) - 26s nats bow with calamity (with m4d contagion) - 25s nats bow with calamity - 25s calamity with quiver - 27s nats bow with calamity, (3 hatred spenders CA/MS/Impale instead of 2) - 30s summary:- a) don't seem to see m4d stacking on calamity and an active m4d contagion rune b) 2h xbow with emerald & quiver is the best c) yes, 3 hatred spenders do suck |

QUOTE(ahdc79 @ Jul 1 2014, 10:53 AM) Bring on,... WD's!! In terms of burst damage, WD and Cru have higher burst damage than DH. i am always see the WD's in T5 (dont mention T6) die like mad... LOL WD try his soul haverst end up die when meet elite mob.. 'super jade havester" set on.... oh my.... Most common chars you can find farming @ T6 are both WD and Cru. Those WDs you met in game were under-geared. P/S Note, I'm not saying DH can't do T6. This post has been edited by ALeUNe: Jul 1 2014, 11:18 AM |

QUOTE(absorb-d @ Jul 2 2014, 08:23 PM) i went with just 4M bonus, 6pc loses too much fire dmg, have at least cindercoat and magefist For low T level, 2 sentries are enough to kill most of the mobs. in my argument in most cases u wont hav enuf time to get more than 2 sentry up http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/rheya-6587/hero/39101311 That depends on the torment level you play. If you play high torment 5 or 6, more sentries will certainly help, especially solo. As we discussed previously, we need to stack CDR (min 25% as proposed by wakkay for T6). With adequate CDR, 4-5 sentries are utilised in high torment level. P/S Magefist 20% fire damage vs TNT 40-50% more attack speed. Stacking more fire damage % or more sentries with 40-50% faster attack speed. You can test it on Ghom @ T6 and find out your real damage per sec. QUOTE(absorb-d @ Jul 3 2014, 11:08 AM) nice post i agree that a personal test run vs the 2 spec will yield a clear result The writer tested the gears @ T4. atm im only doing pug rifts t4, so maybe 80% of the time is dealing with trash mobs unfortunately though i don think ill invest the time and gear check, these days i feel the game is losing its appeal, time better spent reading a book found this magefist vs tnt http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3DemonHunter...ist_and_tasker/ I reckon the difference will be bigger at higher torment level. |

QUOTE(Kevmeister @ Aug 19 2014, 11:11 AM) I've posted this on Blizz, lemme re-copy it from there: Forget about dodge, the rule of thumb for now is, DH must be able to survive 2 x thunderstorm at T6. So yes, Dodge is still a good damage mitigation. This is the only type of 'RNG' I fully support, as when you stack more DEX, your chances to dodge get higher, and better. The DR (Diminishing Returns) per point of DEX for dodge is lower (or if it even exists) versus DEX for armor, so it's still better in some ways. Like CHC scaling, having a dodge chance of 50% or higher means 1 out of 2 projectiles (and affixes like mortar, frozen, etc.) will be dodgeable. In 2.1, this will be completely benign or for all cases of DH, cease to exist. The only class that can dodge from that patch onward is a Monk, which with all due respect that that class needs it, I think DH should not be discounted for our dodging capabilities either. True, at later levels of GRifts and higher Torment levels, DH are inevitably forced to tank stuff, it still doesn't excuse Blizz from completely removing this from all classes. Every single class may not benefit from the Dodge mechanics, but DH (and especially Monks) do. I still think a compromise of per point of DEX for dodge and armor is the best way. Blizz just did not adapt the dodging mechanics well from D2 to D3, and that's why it's in a hot mess now. For me, I might go with Simplicity's Strength + new Depth Diggers to make my bolas explode for around 400% weapon damage, as I don't really like the M6 playthrough (tried it, I didn't like it) and will probably stick with M4/N3 combo. The other gems seem like a lackluster, so I don't even bother trying to get those and to upgrade them. |

QUOTE(dreaming @ Aug 20 2014, 11:05 AM) imo, ROS is meant to be designed for crusader. Wiz is doing ok at T6. with the core akkhan 6pcs bonus, crusader can unlock many viable builds to play in higher tier. they just need to look for suitable weapons, shields, elemental dmg in ammy, ring & bracer. for other classes, you can have colorful builds in lower tier; however as we progressing & gearing up toward higher tier, there is only 1-2 viable builds for each classes which is quite boring i admit. afterall, we should feel THANKFUL if we look back to monk/wizz who are still struggling at higher tier. Monk needs better gears. |

QUOTE(deathTh3Cannon @ Aug 22 2014, 01:45 PM) I have Kridershot. Just to comment on the bow. 2700+ DPS 2H bow VS 2500+ DPS 2H crossbow. 2500+ DPS 2H crossbow wins in M6 sentry build. 2H crossbow just melts everything way faster than 2H bow. You really don't need Kridershot. It's really overrated. I'm looking forward to the cold build though. |

QUOTE(nightshade_nova @ Aug 25 2014, 03:09 AM) Really ? I think it will generate hatred if your shuriken cloud hits the mobs.I always get trial keys on t5.First time didnt get was surprised. I dunno anything about the odds. Maybe Im lucky? edit: Two more times, got two trial keys. Okay I got the chakram rucksack, paired with Focus+Restraint but felt so meh. Maybe cos no cold rune for chakram, but chakram as a whole, the pathing and projectile speed really feel underwhelming too.My testing wasnt optimal, no enchanting or anything. Dont like chakram, in the future maybe reserve F+R set for EA only. I tested with shuriken cloud too, it doesnt regen 3 hatred per sec.Expected result, just thought it might. Im also loving Krelm set. The +ms bypass the 25% limit (I have 50% ms when its on), and its now 5 sec not get hit by mob to keep buff instead of 15, so between mobs travel really fast. The 500 vit bonus also not too shabby. Rama gift I got 2 dropped for me, between lvl 180 and 195. So its not that rare probably.Hopefully drop rate will stay the same for live client. QUOTE(fabvader @ Aug 26 2014, 09:34 AM) 2.1 is widely reported to be up tomorrow.. Get ready.. So in summary, on a trifecta jewelry, its best to sacrifice IAS for socket? Ramaladani can drop anywhere or is there a specific place? It depends on build. Some builds require attack speed, some builds don't in order to avoid fast drain of resources. |
