1st - S III open it own phone need wait, 2nd open was fast but no use as it often close itself. This is common thing in phone, but you need to wait it open.
2nd - when you use the Samsung weather widgets + contact widgets, and every page with at least 2 widgets, you pinch to zoom, it will jerking (I cannot said it was lag, it just not smooth animation) from time to time.
3rd - open it app drawer widget page never smooth, it was lag, need wait few second before it just smooth.
4th - from time to time it was auto re-generate the whole launcher. This is common issue since Samsung S III launched and never really fix in proper until date.
S III in general never smooth on animation. It open apps do fast just the animation part was not smooth, exclude open of Phone, Contacts & Messaging - all this 3 common apps take time. All this is common thing and shall not let people wait. It even open slower than S II.
S III processor was fast, faster than One X, but .... the common smooth experience also cannot give.
Haha.. for me overall its ok. not so particular on 0.xxx or < 3 seconds. And I dint always restart my phone. so its ok for me while waiting during startup.
The culprit is the RAM. Android consumes huge amount of RAM, unlike Apple, their memory management is better (dint put so many things to cache?) so even though their RAM are small but their animation performance is smooth.
So 2gb RAM will be definitely no problem for Android.
Anyway, great sharing there.
