QUOTE(Hico @ Jan 19 2013, 06:15 PM) i tweet maxis abt the speed after exceeding rm250 for the pay per use maxis internet, and he replied the speed will throttle down after exceeding and no more charges after that.. another different reply from maxis.. there is no limit to pay per use[06:26:26 PM] Maxis: Welcome to LIVE Chat. [06:26:36 PM] Maxis: Hi, I’m Ashley. How can I assist you? [06:27:37 PM] Me: i would like to ask about my legacy unlimited data plan rm99.. [06:27:58 PM] Maxis: Yes sure [06:27:58 PM] Me: is there a cap or something newly established by maxis [06:28:13 PM] Maxis: Yes, we have capped all unlimited plans at 30GB [06:28:13 PM] Me: it is slowing down like a snail [06:28:34 PM] Me: ok, so i would like to ask if pay per use internet plan is unlimited [06:29:08 PM] Me: i know the capping bill is rm250 right, so this is truly unlimited data plan for now? [06:29:31 PM] Maxis: That is correct |

QUOTE(johnlau91 @ Jan 21 2013, 07:49 PM) I;ve mine reset the day before, 30GB. http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/br...nternet_TnC.pdfIt seems like maxis has changed their policy, RM250 capped on PAY PER USE is no longer available for newly postpaid customer. Can anyone please verify that? I'm not abusing internet, but retrieving files once in a blue moon from my server which could take up a lot of quota. thank you ! The Postpaid Quota Upgrade Passes are only available for customers who have subscribed for monthly passes. Customers who have subscribed for monthly passes may, at any one time purchase (in addition to the monthly pass already subscribed for) a Postpaid Time Based Pass, a Postpaid Quota Upgrade Pass or both (concurrently). The order of utilisation of the volume entitlement shall be as follows, the volume entitlement of item (i) being the first to be exhausted, followed by that of item (ii) and finally, that of item (iii): (i) Postpaid Time Based Passes; (ii) Postpaid Quota Upgrade Passes; (iii) Postpaid monthly passes/packages. Notwithstanding the above, the pay-per-use charges for the continued use by postpaid subscribers of any of the above data packages exceeding the time/ volume quota as specified above, shall be subject to a maximum monthly cap of RM250. ------------ I dont understand this, only know to copy and paste |
