Okay, Evil Avatar was kind enough to compile a nice list of links of interest regarding the GDC.

So, err... discuss. I've got to get back to studying.

anything from the developers themselves? Molyneux and Will Wright almost always have something mighty interesting to say.

Nah, nothing yet so far... and like last year, is still being dominated mostly by Next-Gen console stuff... This time around, the PS3 is coming under heavy scrutiny.

But, its still early. Anyway, UT2007 and Crysis are already on display

Well, if what Sony claims about Motor Storm is true ie:

Vehicles behind you actually get affected by the ruts and trails made by YOUR vehicle (they're not just decals anymore) and that's just a sampling of what the PS3 is supposed to be able to deliver, then it looks like it's shaping to be a hell of "next" gen.

Hmm...I stand corrected then. But hell, an addon card? Blardey...

EDIT: If what I assume from the two videos are true, this is ridiculous. Does this mean Physix owners get more powerful bombs? (see how the green car is also damaged in the video on the right)

Nah, its purely cosmetic (I'm guessing that car is invulnerable regardless) Without the card, it just looks the same, but with, they added damage effects.
