I respect that dude.
While everyone pick on little little things such as RMAH, RNG, PvP, balancing and his personal comment on David Brevik, I look at the big picture;
- not easy to take up a role to direct a high expectation game
o while some may argue, D3 is the successor of D2
o I play Touchlight and Touchlight 2, like it, but I never stop D3
o For what is worth, thanks to him, there is D3.
o The original D3 was scrapped, and has no lead until he came along.
For me, his legacy started 3 years before D3 released. His active participation in various sites on promoting D3 and why some decisions are made, got me hook in D3 even before it released. The ability to rebuild the scattered D2 community (after so many years) and literally secured high number of sale even before the game launched is very impressive.
On a personal note, while not that he intended, I made some $ out of the game too.
