if everything goes as planned, will be spending a few days in june in hong kong. toying with the idea of getting a 60G ipod there. since this is the 1st time i am going there, any tips on the best place to get it?
i have been drooling over the prices on the hk apple store. 3200 hk money is like rm 1,521.81. hell, over here the 30G costs rm 1,499! with just an extra rm 22.81 i get double the space! writing it down now makes me want it even more.

I just came back from HK..... most major stores will have the iPod at 3200 HK dollars........ The most common place where they sell it is at a electronic chain store (something like Best, but all gadgets like Mp3 players, TVs and stuff like that) called "Fortress".....

By then iPod 60GB should be phased out already... 4" widescreen iPod anyone? LoL, or iPhone
If only those analysts wasn't BS about this.

btw, if you have a student ID or a friend who has one, you could even get much cheaper!

ya Fortress in HK is a nice place 2 get electrnic gadget! 2 yrs ago i bought my creative mp3 player from them also! the sales person also very friendly!

hellfried, maybe u can help us to buy the iPod from HK too.. All iPod models should be cheaper than M'sia right?

i won't mind so much if i am not bringing my ipod nano on this trip. i need my music on the plane you know.

cool, enjoy ur trip. do look for some accessories. some accessories they have there cant be found here if you're lucky, they gave grazy sales & rebates for older batch of products.
