QUOTE(tigerporc @ Sep 17 2013, 11:15 AM) You mean the problems with S-PEN? You can just stick to 4.1.2 Stock ROM first until a new firmware release fixes the problem... S-Pen alignment got problem but that is not the biggest problem. i updated to Stock 4.2.2 ROM. then my screen does not recognize my finger intermittently. but it recognize my S-Pen. sigh

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 17 2013, 11:37 AM) Did you use any magnetic casing. .? If you know how to flash stock rom...try flashing that 4.2.2 official M'sia stock firmware again. If still problem..send it to service centre. i using normal case. the problem appears after running samsung software update to upgrade to 4.2.2. btw, i check tigerproc guide on fixing the issue but got no idea how it works. is there any simpler guide? does flashing the stock rom will void the warranty and does it need bootloader unlock or additional rooting process?

QUOTE(tigerporc @ Sep 17 2013, 01:23 PM) Malaysia Note 8 does not need any bootloader unlock (like HTC); rooting is not required to flash Stock ROM if using PC ODIN. NOTE: Just to be clear, are you referring to the water ripple effect on the 4.2.2 lock screen, the ripple effect does not happen on the default clock widget (only the areas other than it); that was really surprising to me at first For a guide, refer to (Note 8 is the same) How to restore stock firmware for Note 2As waveweaver mentioned, you can try reflash 4.2.2 again or downgrade to 4.1.2 Note 8 Malaysia FirmwareDon't worry about the TriangleAway stuff if you have not rooted or flashed anything else other than Stock Firmware/OTA updates. thanks for the tips sifu. actually, is not the water ripple. is the screen does not recognize my finger when i touch it. it is like totally no respond at all.

QUOTE(Ultima @ Sep 24 2013, 09:32 AM) Its not the note fault. Some cases got strong magnet, thus affecting the screen even when the coves is on the back of the device. mine got 2 cases, one ok, the other one not ok. i see. i think mine got no magnet geh.. just a simple flip case... http://www.lelong.com.my/samsung-galaxy-no...7-01-Sale-I.htmthis one.
