You can stay on stock kernel if you want, but if you want improved battery life and fix for S-PEN alignment, you should go to XDA and check out CivZ-SphereXtreme kernel.

I don't use custom ROMs but if I did, I would choose "CivZ-FLEX-BEAM-REV3.0" smile.gif

hell.. was updated my note8 from 4.1.2 (or 4.2.2, forget dy) to 4.4.2 + root + phil touz recovery.. battery sucks like no tomorrow!! went to Sunway Pyramid check, the girl told me is battery issue.

Now wanna re-flash back to 4.2.2, not sure battery consumption will resume normal or not.

Btw, after flashed via Odin, now my knox warranty void bcome 1, cant reset anymore. But the girl told me warranty still not void yet (my note was bought on Feb 2014). lol
