I asked Sen Heng sales person to call me when the tablet arrive to their store and they call me this evening. So after work, I went to their store, only 1 set available.
The tablet is larger than Samsung 7.0, Asus Fonepad and Nexus 7 (I compared at the shop) and slightly heavier too. The build is too plasticy like any other Samsung phone. Anyway, now I'm menyesal bringing my wallet to the shop. Despite all the cons I mention earlier, now I'm officially a Note 8.0 owner. But my note is without SP and also cover, now searching through lowyat forum for a good bargain. |

My Note 8.0 free memory is less than 10Gb, is it normal? This is for fresh Note when I first get it.

QUOTE(backislan @ Apr 28 2013, 10:09 AM) Anybody owner that have note10.1 b4 migrate to note 8.0,currently undecided...becos note 8.0 rrp can get same price with note 10.1...there are supposed to be same spec rite? I haven't own a Note 10.1 but I have tab 10.1. Why I prefer Note 8.0? Because it smaller, has notebook or diary size and lighter. Btw, to highlight some of Note 8.0 if compare to 10.1: Higher dpi (189 vs 149) Higher cpu speed (1.6 Mhz vs 1.4 Mhz) Lighter (338g vs 600g) But overall, both have the same spec. It all down to which size you prefer. |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ May 2 2013, 10:28 AM) It will be slower when you transfer data into the sdcard. Reading or watching from sdcard won't be much different. Yup..better to get higher class but I want to know if the money spend worth it or not. If the difference is small, thinking of buying class 4 only but more space. But still. .better get the higher Class as the price is quite cheap nowdays. |

QUOTE(Ulysses @ May 2 2013, 10:59 AM) That price for 32Gb or 16Gb?QUOTE(Ulysses @ May 2 2013, 05:17 PM) My habit I think, when the empty storage less than 50%, it made me think it almost full. I'm still wondering if 9.78Gb total space for fresh out of the box Note 8.0 is normal or not? My Tab 10.1 had 13Gb of total space and my Note 2 had 10.2Gb of total space. Where another 6Gb gone? Jelly Bean take a lot of space aa? |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ May 9 2013, 12:57 PM) You have a lots of songs..? Nope, just test 2 file. Put inside /Music folder, cannot detect. But when create Music folder inside /media/, it can detect. So, all music file have to put inside this /media/ folder? How about if I put all music file in external memory card (currently I have no memory card, so can't test)? It takes some time for the initial scanning. Leave it for a few hours. Your songs will be shown in the Music player after that. |
