I was expecting a Full HD screen - the specs doesn't temp me much since it is almost identical to Note II. I think i will keep my Tab 7.7 and wait for the V2 of the Note 8.0 next year.

QUOTE(countdracula @ Apr 1 2013, 01:46 PM) Ya, I agree. Being a good tablet, min of 32gb is a must otherwise it will be handicapped. yes, 32GB internal memory is so much better than 16GB after minus off those system-used space. But i think a simple memory swap is all it takes to have 64GB microSDXC card as the internal memory in a recent Samsung devices. My Note II 16GB has a whopping 64GB internal memory now with the swapping. But my older Tab 7.7 can't do it properly yet.

QUOTE(countdracula @ Apr 2 2013, 12:15 AM) i wonder will it crash the system if sdcard is removed? no need wonder, it sure hang. if you hand itchy go remove the card while the device is running, you may corrupt the card easily and spoilt it. Some microSDXC card like the Sandisk 64GB microSDXC is very sensitive, must treat it with extreme care.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 21 2013, 08:35 AM) Waiting for black unit Will sell off my nexus 7 (32gb wifi) than Just passby a Samsung Kiosk at Tebrau City JB, no demo unit but when i asked, got ready stock at RM1,699. Quite tempted to get one for myself. Tab 7.7 and Nexus 7 mainly used by my 2 sons at the moment. But quite turn off by the non-Full HD screen. Will wait and see the Nexus 7 replacement first.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 29 2013, 10:01 AM) Tough to find. The Note width is 136 cm while most pants back pockets nett width is 125 to 130 cm Even my baggy pants back pockets is only 129 cm wide Tab 7 width is only 123 cm and can just fit in nicely to most back pockets And after seeing the latest S4 full HD display, the Note 8 display pales greatly in comparison. It was so obvious comparing these 2 that's why i hold on to get the Note 8.0. I was expecting a full hd screen. Will wait for the Nexus 7 II in the coming Google I/O. Has a brief hand-on with S4 at a Samsung outlet yesterday, the screen is really nice.
