WHOA! Just did something awful..I was charging my tab, putting it on the floor then as I sat at the study table I drew my chair sat down then after a couple minutes realised the leg of the chair was on the tab! It had a casing but Macron type so not very thick or high quality. So much pressure then on the screen then!

I checked and the screen seems to be fine, no distorted colours or cracks but am worried for the effect long term..do you think there will be any? What should I look out for to see if there is any problems if there are any?

I bought this from Senheng, with 1 year warranty, does it cover screen replacement? Just wondering, God forbid if anything happens to it.

Thanks for any reply!

I do not think the warranty covers defects based on human error... such as yours... if it is caused by manufacturing defect then of course it is covered...

Screen just got replaced recently. Lately, sometimes screen can go haywire. Colors all gone crazy and lines appear. After a while ok, need to press the side of the tab then ok. Suspecting wiring/cable problem. Will be planning to send it back to SME AGAIN. Anybody with feedbacks/comments?

Yes. .send it back to service centre.
Better still if you can replicate the moment that screen goes haywire. Save your time from explaining to them...lolz biggrin.gif

If it occurs during charging, it could be the cable or charger problem (especially cheap no-brand chargers); electromagnetic (noise) interference will cause these problems. Do not use cheap cables or chargers cool2.gif

It occurs when I am not charging. Just by random movement, sometimes, which is hard to explain but I did took a picture previously to show them later on.

- your Note must be rooted.
- your Note must have custom CWM.
- flash the kernel using CWM.
- install the Mods app and have fun tweaking your Note. biggrin.gif
