That's why I say lar, everytime also need to FIX By judging from this FIX list you generally have an idea what does it mean by FIX lah.

Go to showroom ,test drive both. test out both cars. For me, the reason why i go for saga flx is the rear seat are much more comfortable than persona rear seat. Persons rear seats are somehow almost 90' straight up which is kinda torturous for long journey for the back passengers.
If you really want to get saga, I would suggest to go for 1.6 Saga FLX SE. you will need the extra torque to move this car around.

Persoga is a better looking guy IMO. However, GaGa can be garang also. Depends on huat u looking for. GaGa can be very good FC if 1 know how to control DbW technology. Provided slightly lighter than Persoga, its FC definitely better than Persoga. Some said GaGa 1.3 is weak compare to same category vehicle, I'd like to help clarify that CVT is a tranmission running with flexible ratio. Anyone time if u need speed, just slam the gas pedal, the puller will auto adjust the belt to suitable angle, and the 1.3litre engine will roar! Most tested 1.3CVT 0-100 in 11-12seconds. Topped out at about 200kmh. Manual, around 10seconds, also topped out about 200kmh.

Therefore, unless u really feels the need of that extra 30Nm for such a small car, with leather seats, odd colored skirting, yes u need to look for 1.6SE CVT. Otherwise, Persoga, but u hv much older technology. One thing that Persoga can never match is the aged old 4AT technology. But ofcourse Persoga rear wheels hooked up with multi-link. Anyone time its more comfortable than GaGa. If 0.5seconds faster in 0-100 sprint is not your concern, why not 1.3 CVT.

So, it really boils down to what u want.

i think u meant flx exec and flx standard. if auto all is CVT gearbox. the accessories bundled are different. the exec is more worth it. u wan full package go for the 1.6. semua pun ada~

CVT is the gearbox, that means AUTO. The other option is MANUAL.

The FLX Executive and FLX Standard have both CVT (Auto) and Manual.

FLX SE only have CVT (Auto).

If want full spec + skirting might as well get 1.6SE lor. However, if want manual then no choice, only got 1.3. As for 1.3EXEC CVT, different with 1.6SE different only few thousand, but you get hellalotmore on the SE compare to 1.3EXEC. Power and FC wise wont be that much of different la anyway. So, if can afford, why not 1.6SE leh?

diabolique BTW how much is FLX SE now? Last I check was near RM48k for the white color, if that's true then it's a good deal compared to FLX Exec. When I bought mine it was almost RM50k.

Of course Persona is more spacious and more comfortable (some owners say rear seat not as comfortable due to too upright...), it's also more stable, quieter and handles better.

Downside is, the current Persona only have 1 airbag and no ABS/EBD, no CVT (uses 4AT), foglamps, electric side mirrors etc...(FLX exec/SE has 2 airbags and all those things) So it's up to you to decide if you can do without these stuffs.

Basically, ABS allows you to steer the car when hard braking instead of skidding forward uncontrollably.

CVT....well CVT is simply a more efficient transmission than 4AT, very difficult to explain

If your friend think ABS hard to control, then go ask him how. The only reason people does not appreciate ABS was the pedal is harder than without ABS. There's no INSTANT reponse from the brake pedal as every brake has to be calculate precisely so your wheels does not lock. A car with ABS seldom hear tyre screeching sound even during emergency brakes.
