QUOTE(Ah_Bear @ Feb 9 2013, 12:57 AM) DRL is LED bulb.. not halogen.. how can it won't be tahan lama.. ? try out different QC LED you will know the different... Even at its high brightness LED never have problems.. unless the construction is not rain and weather proof then LED will kena sot and kong easily.. nowadays all retail design shops with lots of poster lightboxes using LED, ceiling lights metal halide or CDMR-liked LED fitting and LED strips at glass counter showcases all using LED instead of halogen spotlight to highlight the products (no dimmer or whatsoever).. all my client said its very bright still maintenance free for 1 year till now.. back to the car DRL.. mine even max brightness day and night, it doesn't emit any heat after hours of driving. The whole thing didn't feel warm when touching on the front surface.. it won't easily burn without excessive heat.. |

QUOTE(ohde @ Feb 10 2013, 12:43 AM) Has anyone facing abnormal heat at the cup holder area up to the console (USB port area) ? could be aircond problem again as the heater coil is around that place....together with the cooling coilI have claimed the warranty at sc but they only manage to put a layer of insulator to reduce the heat at cup holder area. However, they cannot fix the heat near USB port area. I can feel the heat after drive for more than 30mins, very obvious especially driving long distance. I can feel the heat when my left leg lean on the wall of the console. Please advise. Thank u |

QUOTE(theringbearer74 @ Feb 12 2013, 07:06 PM) last time RM85 balik kampung manage to get 560km the best i got 615km for RM85.. highway and round2 town.. 2 adults and 2 kids with full trunk. QUOTE(Ah_Bear @ Feb 12 2013, 09:13 PM) your FC is higher than mine.. maybe yours due to 1.6 engine need to work out most of the torque to handle 4 person weight.. My first 1000km break in FC to PG from KL > Taiping > PG was liek 5.4 or 6.4l/100km...my 2.0.. myself forever-alone aka lonely driver to outstation avg. 120-130kmph was around 5.9-6.5l/100km each trip (cruise control all the way).. the only 1 time I fetched 5 full sized adults including the driver fat Ah Bear with fully loaded boot for Cameron Highland trip which was averaging 7.5-8.2l/100km reading.. weight does matter.. 8.2l/100km when driving on curvy roads upwards to Brinchang.. 7.5l from KL to Ipoh on highway (cruise control all the way).. Hmm..maybe need go back FC get them to remap the ECU. |

QUOTE(lovecyndi @ Feb 13 2013, 05:33 PM) Totally agree bro! 1.6sx save u another 12k , if discount maybe can get 15-16k compare 2.0....annual Rm90 roadtax vs Rm368 or 386...yes u getting bigger CC, leather seat, more airbags n motor driven power steering...rest all sameI also thinking 10-15k is not a big different with 2nd hand car. Will consider about new car. So 1.6 or 2.0? but mostly i am city drive. Stay at KL. FC is part of my considering |

QUOTE(lovecyndi @ Feb 13 2013, 07:19 PM) yup...i think so. So far you are driving 1.6? Just get a brand new 1.6sx. Its in between 1.6EX and 2.0SX...if 9 years i think interest rate u can get 1.6x%not worth to get a 2nd hand right? because the price like still quite high. around 60-70k la. QUOTE(freyria182 @ Feb 13 2013, 09:39 PM) Will not but your car will be 'lift up further from the ground...UNLESS you lower ur spring and get a stiffer suspension..... |

QUOTE(lovecyndi @ Feb 14 2013, 01:14 AM) cool... If you have budget constraint, you need to ADJUST it accordingly...for me if youngster or couple, KOUP would be good but if you are family person or wanna carry parent/friends all time, KOUP might not be suitable as ppl need to climb in and out...will you recommend i take the koup if i have budget? because the first car i fall in love is the koup. But because of budget problem now, so not getting it but thinking get the forte only. save 30k and maybe can use to upgrade my car. But i just love koup frame-less mirror , sun roof, leather seat, rim, sporty and 2 door. Some ppl call coupe as 'stingy' car I seriously wonder with Malaysia CLIMATE WHY the heck ppl need sun/moon roof ? After year of hotsun exposure, maybe your rubber start hardening and LEAKING when raining.....lain lain all can do in accesorries la... bottomline - ADJUST your NEEDS according to budget.... ** I also like alot of cars but pocket disallow + DOES IT REALLY apply to your DAILY practical use ??? (Ask this question to yourself, one time cannot answer, ask until you get the answer ! ) |
