Would like to know is paddle lock suitable for forte ?will it void warranty .? As I know that they will plug into some plug near the bottom of steering ?
Anyone used it before ? Is there any other security lock if paddle lock is not suitable ? I think the brand is lock tech This post has been edited by aCCeBeR: Jan 28 2013, 02:28 PM |

QUOTE(izputra @ Jan 28 2013, 02:51 PM) It will void the warranty only for suspension system (steering system might involve also), not the overall car warranty. If u worry so much regarding the car's warranty, just keep the ori rims & tires, dont trade it in. Whenever u wanna claim the warranty, just install back the ori rims & tires Lol good idea haha Thanks for the info ! |

QUOTE(ohde @ Jan 28 2013, 07:45 PM) Yes, I did alignment at JNS, but not FOC, they will charge $$ Wow thanks for your sharing ! Rm350 which shop ? Got address or contact number ? Not sure about camber thing. Why don't u just call up and ask them? PS3 is performance tyre, good choice. If u have budget go for it. Im using Conti MC5, don't know where manufactured, not so important for me. RM380 is within market range, but I read from FB forte group, most ppl can get around 350, the lowest reported is 320! MC5 is mixture of comfort and slighty performance type. Personal experience, it's much much more comfort than stock silverstone. Wet and dry is both good for me as I don't drive too fast/aggressive. Noise level is bit abvious starting 80km/h but still acceptable. After 110km/h can hear more noise. Also depend on road condition. |

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Jan 29 2013, 01:01 PM) One question, where you drive most of the time? urban or highway area? the light rim will give you good experience in City Drive. Pickup and braking ... all handling are good with light rim in city or urban area.. ya i think it is quite true for city driving.. if use lighter should save more fuel~~But if you drive always on highway... Heavier rim serve you better, more steady and momentum to roll better and save fuel. this is my personal experience. |

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Jan 31 2013, 03:21 PM) You have to drive around and ask. All price offered are different. Of course make sure everything is new. Use bicycle or motorcycle visit to the tyre shops ... Dont use your new Forte drive around. Or your tyre will become old and price drop. QUOTE(crazeplatinum @ Jan 31 2013, 03:22 PM) fuuh not this coming months.. put lot of $$ for dp.. now can only afford light mod only now need to find good tint.. any suggestion.. my sis insist me on taking vkool.. any goody for this vkool? QUOTE(clj @ Jan 31 2013, 03:22 PM) i guess the trade in price of rim quite subjective. they can take ur rim with higher price and mark up the price of the rim u by from them. i think look at the 'top up price' is better QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Jan 31 2013, 03:45 PM) Right. The best way is asking exchange the rim with and how much need to top up .... okok ~~ thanks sifu ! i think it is true also.. they can mark up n down on the trade in packages.. Also .. in RM1500, not the rim worth the money but the tyres ... The tyres easily to sell but not the rim. |

i noticed a big difference if you try to control the rpm around 2k or 3k .. then you will be saving some fuel..
that is what i am currently practicing .. and it actually went down from 12-13 km/l to 11-12km/l.. i am trying hard hopefully can get a better FC.. hehe~~~ |
