QUOTE(Ah_Bear @ Jan 24 2013, 02:57 PM) I managed to change the aftermarket quality wiper each time.. i tak biasa listen to annoying screeching sound of stock wiper Agree.hate the screeching sound. Bingit liaowhich is why when I was at Suria KLCC last month cuci my car at Car's International, I bikin also package "2 step body polish with front and rear glass coating" at RM250 (non-member RM280) to me its worth it la when hujan, rain water won't stick on the windscreen and kacau your front view.. water drops will disperse when driving at normal speed and less strain to the wipers.. sometimes I never use wiper during heavy rain when driving on highway.. the wind will blow off the water drops away easily.. Sumore it leave stain mark (one line) on driver side |

QUOTE(g88 @ Jan 24 2013, 06:18 PM) abang...most of us know michelin, bridgstone, toyo or even conti is good but the problem is price...nowdays rubber price is skyhigh....like i told u yesterday, most of my tyre end up buang since after 3-5 years use still have 50-60% thread.... jangan panggil saya abang o.. paiseh eh.. Good tyre = quite, good in cornering/stopping power - coz soft comfort and sticky to the road = thread finish faster too... Performance tyre = same as Good tyre but noiser as it need th rougher thread to counter the corner etc... yes good things all comes with GOOD price.. understood that you're seldom to use your Forte as your main transportation mode.. it all depends on what you really need and your expectation after the upgrade.. and of course the price factor.. what I was saying is just that I am sincerely recommend those higher end tires who are looking for an honest grip and performance in cornering and enhances steering maneuver response, which is stock Forte is lacking of.. tires such as these can bring up the Forte driving pleasure to the upper level lor.. based on my previous usage reviews.. Michelin MXV8 (predecessor of PLC), PLC and PS3 for best of worlds comfort ie: premium ride and quietness and performance ie: grip on dry and wet Bridgie RE002 for superb traction and straightline and sharp as a sashimi knife steering feel Toyo T1R substitute for PS3 but thread rubber faster finish than PS3.. Yokohama C-Drive 2 for above average traction ability and quietness w/ reasonable comfort (25% better than Atlantis V7).. affordable at RM385/pc for stock 17" Forte size.. Yokohama Advan DB V551 all that you want from C-Drive 2 with extra quiet and virtually no noise ride.. peng leng jeng leh.. contimax MC5 is good enough for aftermarket upgrade starter.. can assured 50% upgrade in comfort, lower noise, grip.. i believe a guy in V14 had mentioned that in his review before.. his comments are pretty tally with one of my colleague using that same tire for his 2011 Inspira |

QUOTE(darel_lee @ Jan 24 2013, 06:30 PM) Wanna ask advice for tinting. mine 6 mil kaca tingkap naik turun many times now can see abit of vertical scratch already..Wil get my new forte b4 CNY. SA offer me free Raytech 4mil wit irr50% Then the raytech person advised to add extra 1500 for 5mil wit irr85% For rm1500, should I go for raytech or other better brand? Btw, can I ask the raytech person to install the free 4mil tinted, then I use the rm1500 to buy other brand tinted add on it (double layer tinted)? TSER should be the term for heat absorption (on the film / glass itself) and rejection.. no need to look at IRR infrared thingy.. |

Sifu-sifu and taiko sekalian,
I have a quick question about my new 2012 Kia Forte SX. Been eye-ing some 17' sports rims recently but unfortunately i couldn't find one with the same offset(50) as the stock rims.So will there be any problems or issues if i opt for ones that are let's say 40 or 42? |

Simple reason being that it would be difficult to get 2 different tints to come together and still be JPJ compliant in terms of VLT rating. Also, what if a couple of months down the road the 1st layer tint bubble up? Buang both layers? The double tint would be pretty thick, hence it would most prolly get scratched after regular window winding exercises. |

So i sent my car back today, they listen, tested and agree, still have alignment problem. Now, after driving back to my house, still unsolved.. Should i sent it back? Or try other service center?

Guys,
I plan to replace my stock rim with Lenso ES6, or Raiden ProjectD type, do you think worth to replace it? I need to top up RM1K. Wondering really help on acceleration and fuel consumption? Due to budget constraint, will change the tyre some other time. Please advice. |

Yo!
I have some question on our USB feature. I have tested to use it for the first time and unortunately it could only read 2 folders (I did not put multiple layers in the thumb drive). When I open up my pen drive surprisingly most of the music files and folders inside was corrupted. Am wondering, how many files it can read up? Is there any limit? Any one experienced this before? Please share |
