No keyless entry...just engine start/stop button
Engine will not shutdown if u remove the key...
I drove from Kl-Ipoh with the key in the center console...
But once the engine is turn off, u cant start it without slotting the key back in..

if not mistaken SA told me after start u can remove ur key and car can still move as long as u dont push the start/stop button again. He once left his key at the showroom and later hv to ask his friend to come with his keys 

Haven't tried dat...u can try if u want...
Give ur key to ur fren and drive around town...
But make sure ur fren is just a phone call away... 

Yup, thats why i will keep the key on its slot later when i want to get out of the car just pull the key and push the start/stop button. Old school way 

Then what about cars that are keyless entry? They can easily drive your car without any keys or engine on.

Anyway, today forgot to lock car and window still half way up. Inside got hp and laptop as well. 

is there any sort of immobilizer apart form the FOB chip?

somebody need to test this theory out! drive your car without FOB inserted. Take note of the distance and time before the engine shutdown (if any).

Then others will try to recreate the scene to confirm.

For forte, engine will not be shutdown. Thief can simply drive away if you keep engine  on and door unlocked.

nope, change every 40k mileage...this is the answer i get when i ask at EON before installing it...
for new engine, there will be metal particles "running" around, but after few k mileage, there wont be much metal particles as ur engine parts ady adapt with each other...
in my opinion, ppl got hundreds/thousands to spend on their car (bodykit, LED, other accessories), why not spend RM68 for this little "rascal"?

i am a goin-to-be-owner for this preve cfe.
am in the amidst of getting the loan and hopefully it goes well.

the salesman really push me to get the preve 2012 version since it has discount, rm5k.
hopefully i got a good deal....hehehe....he repeatedly saying this 2012 model is the last batch and most of preve's prob has already been resolved.i hope its true.crossing my fingers.

and please teach me a thing or two regarding owning this proton car.newbie ere.

U took the 2012 model with rebate? Or is it the 2013 model?

1) Try to reset the average speed reading
2)  Get it checked at SC
3) Check 3rd brake light housing whether got loose, check rear seat whether lose or not, check rear for any loose part, send sc to check..
