i tried duplicate it before, but HU failed to detect my duplicate SD Card.. i think there is some sort of encryption used inside the SD file system that prevent it from being copied.. didn't try image copy though.. maybe someone could try that..

but people told the map can be updated like external gps is a surprise news to me too..
*
Any SOS of modifying the CFE gps?

Try image copy, it may works. wink.gif
I do not have a microSD card reader with me now, else I can try image copy for you and upload into dropbox

Me face this too. Your disc is not overheat. But your brakepad overheat. When aftermarket racing brake pad release, go change your brake pad. Try 600'c or 800'c. Our normal brakepad is suitable for normal condition. Not exceeding 350'c I think. But remember, some performance brake pad to hard. Can makan your disc. And some performance brake pad only works at high temp, means no grip when you want to apply brake during slow driving

Update from my FC:

1st tank -> RM80 after 293km
2nd tank -> RM70 after 260km

After first service and change to Semi oil 10w/40 + Reflash TCU/ECU

3rd tank -> still got 6bar but already clocked 120km.
Conclusion is Preve must be using semi or fully syn oil as arthur mention! My FC reduce a lot! I also read some where that preve FC will get better when mileage is higher until u clock 10k km. After that is Preve actual FC. Just some sharing for member who got question Preve about FC. smile.gif

guys. do you have tucking sound issues at rear seat or car boot? my preve sounds like there are plastic which is not fixed properly. i have send it to proton center. they did tightened the suspension and car exhaust but the sound still there.

i also tried to check the seat, unfold it and everything is fine. this is really annoying. it sounds like 10 years old car. anyone can help?

Hi Guys, finally i got my car. Am officially a preverian  tongue.gif

This is my thoughts on my first ever ride.

1. Special thanks to Vincent from Jutania for speedy processing. But the thing i satisfied the most is his services. Superb and thumbs up!
If u guys wanna buy a preve, you can look for him  thumbup.gif

2. Well, there's a helicopter sound when braking time. And after i read the forum awhile, i assume this problem is common for Preve?

3. and question here, when u turn off your engine, the side mirror will automatically flip back right? but when i turn on my engine and start the ride, is it compulsory i need to press to flip on the side window or can it be set automatically?

4. About 1k km service and maintenance, what should i be aware on?

Kindly advice guys  notworthy.gif

my swift which born on 2009 like that, my dad grand starex which factory fitted VGTurbo which born on 2011 also like that, my preve born on 21 july 2012 also same. tongue.gif...so, I can conclude, every new car behave the same way. :-) "bak kata pepatah, enjin belum masak lagi, masih virgin"

It was the rear speaker board I believe.
Take it out, put some clothes on the two clips are without foam.

Then the clips (plastic) will not direct hit the metal frame, hence the sound gone.

I have gone through numerous trouble fixing that sound but failed. No it still sound even the speaker board removed. Finally I think it is the chasis and welding defects. A soundproof shop help me open everything also can't find the exact source.but they stick all those thing on my rear boot chassis and manage to dampen the irritating noise.

Race cars would not be able to make the grid if they are using high temperature brake pads and there is no grip.

Likewise on the 1st lap at SIC, they won't even make it past turn 1 which is a decreasing radius corner quickly followed by turn 2. The entry for turn 1 is way above 120kph when you hit the brakes at the 100m or 50m marker.

Full load going down Genting at the speed limit or single pilot above the speed limit will have your pads reaching 350 degrees easily. If the stock pads are rated at 350 degrees, brake fade will occur.

That is why I and matS want to upgrade our brakepad. But none available at the market yet. My previous car already installd endless pad. But before endless I used bendix. Bendix also not bad. The disc rotor no need to change. Stock oem already satisfied. Unless need better stopping power, then will change the bigger rotor or sloted rotor or bigger caliper. 2pot 4pot 6pot, none available for preve yet!
