Then it is dangerous. Imagine your child sit behind and u forget to use the child lock.
I not sure is it BMW and WV having the same feature. I know this is safety measure when something happen to let u get out. But this is something dangerous too

I am not pointing at central locking. Pls try your self sit inside lock the door. Then open the door like normal but pull twice.

the design is like that..same as the current VW and BMW design..

the first pull will unlock the door and second pull will open the door...there is nothing you can do about it..

ps:/if your children is sitting behind, make sure the child lock is ON..if they are old enough, just give them proper instructions about the door handle features..

normal behaviour, which i encounter many times ady...when ppl pull once from inside, and cannot open, they will stop opening/pulling the handle...
when a child pull once, i'm sure u ady aware of it...then u can immediately use central lock to lock the doors again...

some more there is chlid lock for rear seats....u can always switch it on using ur key before u start ur journey...

Pull twice only open also complen meh, some conti cars pull once from inside already open door, even if the doors are locked.

Just learn to use the child lock, thats all.

Guys, is the Preve 2013 stock out? What is the chassis number?

for responsible adult with kids, always double check child lock is on. otherwise regret the rest of your life causing the death of your beloved child.

ok some update, setapak branch called me, inform that my car still got oil leak, so meaning, bloody COSE didn't check and repair my car.
so they wasted my time and money go there. job well done HQ proton.

tech guy said maybe tomorrow afternoon can take my car, due to VVT socket oil seal leak. sigh. no wonder i saw oil spot on the floor.


edit: oh btw, setapak sc got nano mist, very cheap only RM19.xx. so i ask them do for me.

most of the conti car has this...

unless the central locking switch is pressed, the door will be individually unlock..
example, if the rear passenger side unlock the door, only that particular door will be unlocked, the rest remained lock from outside...
same goes to the driver side, if the driver unlock the door by pulling the handle, only the driver side door will unlock and the rest remained lock from outside...

got, my sister and family, cause they need to wait me unlock twice only can get inside the car during hot sun or heavy rain...

been using this way since i got my car and never want to change to press once unlock 4 doors...

if you mostly drive your car alone, you can set to driver door only, so other actuators will last longer..not much wear and tear..but I don't know true or false?

Since our Preve is heavy, this will help a lot in braking. I called the company in sunway and he said need to make appt.
The work duration is about 2 hours and the damage is RM480.00 for 6 pieces.

the brake fluid cannot expand in the tube so much with the steel covering it..ayam guessing oni.. that is why I asked anyone done it?
