If you just need to fix that line, I could let you use mine at Dataran Prima tomorrow.. wink.gif

Special thank you to maverickng and ryuken74 for your very kind offer to help notworthy.gif . I was so frustrated with the scratches vmad.gif that I went straight to buy it from Ace Hardware. Then only I saw all your replies . Anyway, I applied it and I too find it, it is a waste of money. The video show it works, but it does not work for me or we all got conned and brought the fake ones. ohmy.gif

It is just only a clear coating applied on top of the paint. But if the paint is scratched out, it does not work anymore. The deep line is still there and the colour is also different.

Maybe will try what my1508 suggested, use Turtle Wax Scratch Remover. I saw it at Ace hardware too, but I just ignored it, thinking the god fixit pen will do a good job.

Now, three of us got these fixit pen. doh.gif

So this total only rm310? So cheap?
Will it void any of my warranty?
*
Yes. And good sound clarity from the old school Blaupunkt amp. But this will void the HU warranty.
If you worry about the warranty, just get the component speaker to replace the current door speaker. Warranty intact due to
no additional wiring required.

QUOTE(allenultra @ Jan 21 2013, 10:55 AM)
Seriously I doubt those setup can bring into a decent SQ setup, unless you found good component speaker set at RM90? I doubt so, even if it used.

A decent SQ unit shall comes with a good component speakers set, a decent 4 channels amp, a subwoofer. Else to me, that's still far to be said as a complete SQ setup. At least a decent componen speaker to start with.
*
Quite decent for the cost. Even the amp installer was agree tongue.gif
Its a BPA series 4ch amp with run down housing but everything else is intact. Even the PCX 2 way speakers condition is bad as all connector has a thick shouldering mark but who cares as it works fine. I am okay without the woofer as my main aim is clarity. Volume seldom go up beyond 15.
During DIY installing the speaker to the door, I found out the noise absorbation material cannot be installed beyond the speaker line front and back or it may
caused sound distortion.

Anyone using Audiobank 4 gauge power cable? IMO, a good all round cable I even use it for grounding. Lol.

Hi kenlui, thanks for your response! I'm getting the 2012 manufacture - where do I check the chassis no.? I read earlier the 16xxx chassis needs to reflash? Am I right?

Is it possible to know what month the Preve was manufactured in? If yes, how?

Also, if it does need to reflash, any SC that does it in kota damansara area? If not, what's the nearest/best place to do it? Im browsing the service centre's on proton's website... hope I wont need to call every one and ask if they provide reflash... hahah

Feel really excited now! Thanks again!

At the side of the driver door, there is a badge with ur chasis no. Otherwise in your purchase form.

Maverick has ady answered u regarding the service center.

That should be excluded the insurance premium etc. You gonna pay RM2k++ for it.
I doubt many stock of year 2012 Preve left. If you found one and have the intention to buy, do it fast.

hi guys.a proud owner of a elegant brown CFE here.

my car has currently clocked 1500km. However, i realised the fuel consumption is pretty bad. On a full tank, i can only manage around 350km of town driving. On the highways plus town driving, it averages around 450-480km. Is this due to the initial lag response when the throttle is depressed everytime the car is static? The mere fact that its pretty hard to get mine moving from stop contributes to more throttle needed and higher RPM's prolly contributed to the bad fuel efficiency.

will remapping the ECU help solve the problem? Thanks guys

RM72999 does include insurance etc.
But I have seen several scheme about 7k discount, they usually take off the insurance premium etc to get your attention.
When you approach and buy the car, then you may know the real story. If they really offer you 7k from 72999 with insurance premium, take it.

I am driving Exec CVT currently clock at 4500km....my fuel indicator at last bar now(not yet blinking), mileage done 293km shocking.gif ...talking about bad FC..Preve is the damn high on FC if stuck in traffic jam...almost 25% much more than my previous Waja... cry.gif

Some owners are getting better FC....fuel or traffic condition might contribute to better FC....

but it's stated OTR

-new car
-ready stock ( discount 7000 )
-otr price rm 65540

-if got ncd 55% lagi tolak 1132.45
-after tolak rm 1132.45 =64407.55

So if 0% NCD it's RM65540?

Any risk buying from non-official agent?
Warranty should be the same right?

Hi,
For those with aircon problems (aircon too cold & fogging even set to minimal, air flow stuck etc), please ask the SC to change aircon thermoamp (dunno spelling right or not). After change, my aircon back to normal...
