At 1st, i also dont think that he's a conman but what made me pissed bout it is he (Allen aka MarlboroMania aka Kawasaki_Kips) kept giving empty promises when it comes to money refunding. He told me the same excuses that he's working day & nite just to make enough $ to refund us here BUT any prove on this?

I agreed with u but for me, i would like to have a better explanation on why is he (Allen @ MarlboroMania aka Kawasaki_Kips) done this to us here? For me, as i've said & mentioned in previous reply...... i've given up hope on getting back my refund of RM500 from him. It's a lesson learnt & no matter how close & how a great seller he is....... no trust will be granted anymore to anyone!

1st of all, nope this is not the 1st time i've dealt with MarlboroMania/Kawasaki_Kips as i've met him b4 to close a deal for a Samsung D500c. I skipped the deal with him bcoz i was short of cash & the price he's asking for the D500c doesnt meet my budget.

So when he told me that he got a unit of K750i available, he told me to prepare $ for him 1st which i did. After weeks of waiting for the phone, he said cant get it liao & then refunded me the full amount.

When finally during Nov 2005, he told me that he's getting 3 units of W800i with dirt cheap prices bcoz of a phone shop closing down. His contact so called, i told him that i'm very short of cash...... cant bank in or pass him the full amount for the phone...... he said i can bank in RM500 1st then when got the phone liao only pay him the remaining balance.

It sounded like a good deal..... so i bank in RM500 into his account under the name Cheong Chan Wah & waited for 2 months when i finally told him that i'm in urgent situation & needed my refund. He kept promising this & that but NO REFUND until now! Sigh..... given up hope for refund edi!

zetcruel, i got the same sms as u do but i've given up hope on my refund from this Allen. He might be gone from KL but not out from M'sia. I've info on his whereabouts but still, i dun wanna disclose here yet.

I'm still looking for him if i have the luck of bumping him someday on the streets. I'm seriously pissed with the empty promises he made saying will ty to refund when & where. Until now, habuk pun tarak & i've treated the conned $$$ as bad debts edi. Lodged police report but until now no updates from PDRM & was informed by the officers, if i managed to find him...... perhaps "kasi ajar" sikit tapi jangan bagi mati enough according to the officer who told me this.

I didn't know that this b@stard still active in various forums conning people till now. Well, a lesson learnt for myself after got cheated RM1,000 back in year 2005/06 circa. Honestly, I managed to tracked him down & confronted him but unfortunately, the $$$ cheated from me unable to retrieve back. FYI, this guy often shows up around Kepong, Jinjang & Gombak area whereby I saw him myself. He's driving a Perodua Myvi (apple green colour) & also a Proton Persona (black colour) but I'm unable to remember nor take down the registration plates.

Tracked down & met him before this but what to do with him besides giving him a good whacking? I just want my RM1,000 plus which he conned me before & that's all. No point whacking him up nicely without getting back a single dollar what. Well, at least for me I won't get my hands dirty without getting back my hard earned $$$.

Latest update, I saw him driving a FD1 Honda Civic 1.8 stopped at traffic lights near Sri Gombak.

Nope, I did not get my money back till now. Did u managed to get yours back from him?
