i love alluminium chasis, easy to work with..

after a little touch with sand paper...







modding will start after chasis have been cleaned up ... stay tuned

stripping paint from alloy panel is the hardest part...

not using a sand blast or chemical substances...

just pure guts and will to continue...







INGREDIENT:

1. sandpaper 600 (kasar dia ler)
-used after stripping all the paint using knife.

2. sharp knife.
- be carefull, tips, dont use top end of the knife because will causing "skress"....bend the knife...use middle of it..

3. coca-cola
-u feel tired?...take coke..hehe...as what i am doing..

Paint stripper will save you a lot of time stripping the paint. Seams and stuff, and grills are impossibly hard to stripe with sandpaper and wire brush. Spend a wee bit on paint stripper and you will see everything dissolved in 20-30 mins.

i have tried...but after using it...the new paint just wont stick...somekind of "undissolveness" happen kikiki.... ....

ya...ya...ya....hopeless... ....ahahah.... if there is a hope??....i will have some kind of special price from u?.... jkjkjkjk....

Paint stripper are usually water based if not mistaken. After you stripped off the paint, you will want to run it under the water for a prolonged time to rinse off evertyhing. If the paint doesn't stick on bare aluminium, prime it with some primer.

little update..

i wonder where to get taller feet than oem TJ07 feet...its so hard to get 1...




so...i decided to made one...

i cast myself a feet from pure alluminium molten 680 celsius hot..

the mistake is..i take the casting process picture with mobile phone camera...better not to upload it...









- drill 1 hole bigger than the other so the skru dont fall through the holes..


- here it is..








the finish product...who interest...i may made a set for u...cheaper than market price...

updates for midplate and drivebay plate...i choose white interior for no reason rather than black...to me its look clean and a sign of "HOPE" ....



prev owner make a cable cutout on the midplate...need to repair it...


have decided to invert the mobo backplate...A new cutout for cable...


acrylic with 3mm thick as the cover for holes on midplate..




left plate for midplate and the other one for drivebay..

wait I dont get it...why do you need to spray paint the acrylic? I see you peel the brown paper its already white colour

that when the magic thing happen....haha...the acrylic is clear...i paint the bottom and leave the top just like that...so the paint wont easy to peel off..

oh i see, a bit confused going through the pictures so far looks nice...need a worklog on that murderbox front panel

refurbishing the XSPC Rasa cpu waterblock..6,3,1 micron



originally bought as used dull black wb and its badly oxidize...



using the diamond suspension heavy concentrate i rub the surface area of the wb with soft cloth attached to rotating polishing machines..6,3,1 micron details..
begin with 6 micron concentrate..

6 micron diamond concentrate result..


3 micron...



1 micron



(surface can be polished further more as mirror finish)
remember, do not sand your waterblock using "sand paper"...it is sand dude..
this process takes only a few miligram of the copper from the base of the wb...

Why temp after polish show so much difference on load?
Btw the waterblock with white color look nice .

Owh...aha...that cpu is in idle....the the temp differ mybe cause by room temp or the polishing effect....thats why its called uncontrolled variables..... ..btw thanks....

HOW ITS MADE: faceplate

acrylic sheet...


cut and fit, try and error...haha..



perfect fit..


faceplate holder...from my old acer aspire sidepanel...




cutting the line...

faceplate lighting...

glue the acrylic using paint thinner...mockup...


using 2 red cold cathode...i place it beside the cutted acrylic sheet that later will be glued on the main sheet of the faceplate...



for maximum distribution of red light effect...red painted the acrylic...not all but only at the bottom section of the acrylic sheet...


behind..who care how its look..haha...yeah..its suck...


matte black finishing..

great bro..really is a great rad. it runs better in push+pull config. i've tested all three config, and the best is in push+pull...

haha...cant fit push pull configuration...

from review that i have "google"...fans with 1300 rpm is the best choice for optimum cooling and silent...

yes indeed.. that would also provide a great result. but make sure the fans are able to create a good static pressure of air. Ceap n reliable fans so far is the arctic F12..as far as i know

How about noiseblocker M12-S2 multiframe?....

btw...i recommend u to use "autosol" just like toothpaste packing...gold and black packing....beware of "metalsol"...metalsol and autosol is a diffrent grade but the same packing...
