Lol. Depends. There's a lot of fake shit out there. Had a chat with some GNC staff. Do you know most of the fake supps get reported to them? Cos the customers who get sold dope will lodge a complaint to the original supp company, and the supp company will contact GNC Malaysia and it seems they have to handle it. Something i didn't know till a few days ago.

This is what I'm quoting from the GNC staff bro. Not my own words. They claim every damn complaint about fake shit sold in Malaysia is handled by them. The original supp companies always go through them. So I asked the staff what happens to the fake sellers? Lol, she says dunno, cos she's just a normal staff. I'd probably have to dig deeper, maybe from the managers or something. I find this interesting as well.

kinda pity GNC, but again can't blame the consumers. i mean most ppl would go for the best price and bcoz of that they tend to stay away from GNC but unfortunately in few random cases, some idiot prey on these ppl. anyone can bcome sellers these days, i believe u dont need a license/permit to do so, thus it is hard to know who did what.

Why do you think I'd rather go to Ego or GNC? I wouldn't mind paying extra RM30 or even RM40or some product which is know is 100% guaranteed genuine. I know there are a lot of reputable online sellers out there but a few bad applies screw the whole barrel over as the ubiquitous saying goes. I used to lab test some products I bought at random but after a while it got too tedious, despite having an inside contact at a lab company here who was also a bb enthusiast and was dead serious about his supps.

But it's hard to differentiate, and this could be a hoax because the BIG ONE is losing customers by day. Supp co in US/UK wouldn't know if parallel importers getting in from different channels. And IMHO, I don't think they care... They need to feed those CHAMPIONS they sponsored. Also is GNC being the Sole Distributor for so many products they carry? It's quite interesting though ... But we always have to listen to different parties... Anymore input will be appreciated

they are not sole distributors. i also find it hard to believe that its GNC's responsibility to track down fake products when online sellers are buying supplements by the containerload. where's the justice in that? GNC has to hike up their prices to compensate for this and the online sellers sell cheaper cos.... they can?

Yea, I kinda suspect that the GNC guy said that to darklight as some kind of marketing pep talk to keep a big rich guy like him coming back.

Well, I try to take this shit with a grain of salt. Everyone is looking to their own interests. I have given thought to what you said but.... being an OCD guy like me when it comes to supplements since i believe in the minimalist approach on utilizing them, i want a bang for my buck, for the genuine stuff. I'm not saying all online sellers are fake but i sleep better at night knowing i paid extra 20 to 30 bucks for the real stuff instead of 150 for some cheap milk filler consisting of gorilla breast milk. =(
